Tanks and coils

I'm about a month into vaping and a newbie on ECF. I'd like some guidance on EVOD tanks and coils. Running a Vision Spinner 1300 and toggling between 2.2 and 2.5 ohm coils. After reading a number of other threads on cleaning, I'm still not 100% clear if I can (or should) do anything special to the coils, especially when switching juices. Can I soak the coils (in vodka?) to refresh the wicks? I usually blot the coils and rinse the tanks (trying to make sure I dry them out before refilling.) I only need about 3-5 hits before the new flavor kicks in.

Good, bad, no biggie? (Just suck it up and buy more coils?)

You are doing it right already. I have never soaked coils in vodka but hear that works but for around a dollar a piece, you won't break the bank by having flavor dedicated coils

I'm in almost 10 months now and I try to have a tank for each flavor. Or you can do what Pickle said and just get separate coils for each flavor. All depends if you are going to make this hobby as well. Either way is fine and the way you're cleaning is fine too.

I soak my wicks in water overnight when I change flavors. I do that with my brand new wicks also. Seems to help them wick faster and help with the initial dry gross tastes.

I switch all my coils every saturday morning.
A week in use, then a week in a jar of vodka.
Then repeat.

If I change flavors during the week, I just run a tank low, and add a new flavor over the top of it.
Granted.. that sometimes makes my eye tic for a few minutes.. but usually the flavors blend pretty well.
