Tanks, Carts, and Drip Tips, Oh My!

Hey Everybody! I was thinking about using a single thread to post which of Ms T's glorious flavors work well in tanks, Cartomizers, and Drip Tips. I know Ms T and Brandon are working on a list, but having end-users post what they have best results with could be helpful to new users/customers.

Let's not use this for reviews, per se, but just to report which atomizer types you had the best experience with, with certain juices. I'll be adding to this as I go, but if you want to help add to the list, be sure to list cartomizer type (single vs dual coil), tankomizer type (A or B), or your atomizer (LR,HR, etc...) along with the juice name, and I'll add it this list. If it gets big enough, maybe it could get stickied? I'll start:


eGo 1000maH batt w/ Tank Type A:

Tangerine (intense flavor, large vapor production)
Hypnotiq (mellow flavor, large vapor production)
Cherry Cola (smooth flavor, good vapor production)
Black Currant (smooth flavor, good vapor production)

eGo 650maH batt w/ Volcano Magma 2.3ohm Atomizer:

Snickerdoodle Cookie (intense flavor, massive vapor production)
Black Currant (nice flavor, decent vapor production)
Hypnotiq (strange flavor, large vapor production)
Cherry Cola (strong flavor, large vapor production)
Tangerine (overly strong flavor, decent vapor production)

Boge 900Mah stick battery w/ Giantomizer :

Irish Cream Coffee - good flavor, decent vapor (7/10)
Kahlua Coffee - good flavor, decent vapor (7/10)
Caramel Coffee - good flavor, decent vapor (7/10)
Cappuccino - good flavor, decent vapor (7/10)
Snickerdoodle Cookie -good flavor, decent vapor (7/10)

Reo Grand 3.7 Volt w/ LR 306:

Irish Cream Coffee - meh flavor, meh vapor, not so good after taste (4/10)
Kahlua Coffee - meh flavor, meh vapor, not so good after taste (4/10)
Caramel Coffee - meh flavor, meh vapor, not so good after taste (4/10)
Cappuccino - meh flavor, meh vapor, not so good after taste (4/10)
Snickerdoodle Cookie - meh flavor, meh vapor, not so good after taste (4/10)

Reo Grand 6 Volt w/ Boge 3 Ohm Carto:

Think a Boge 2.0ohm carto would work on my eGo batts? I think they're 3.2 or 3.7 volt (fully charged, not sure about sustained). I've heard some good things about them, and would like to add some kinda carto to my rotation.

My opinion...

The thinner and lighter in color they are, they better they work in tanks and cartos. The converse is also true. In general. Exceptions occur. Hope that helps!

Truthfully I used 1.5 and 2 omh LR attys (510/306) on my 1000 mAH eGo batts pretty much exclusively... plus duel coil cartos from time to time. They worked fine, but your avg bat life was 6 mos +. I just recently got a darwin and im givin Mrs T flavors another go - and all out. How I saw your Q.

I was a pretty much snickerdoodle only fan for awhile -- but on a darwin each flavor explodes at different wattage settings and well hey... those flavors that were in the back of the box I didn't like have a whole new life @ right around 5.5 v (9.0 ish on a standard size 510 duel coil carto)! Shes got too many flavors though, i wish she had a 5-10-25 type 3ml sampler pack. Id pay same per ml price but smaller samples = more flavor choices. <--- food for thought Mrs T!

I digress. It is my understanding anything w/ MOSFET switch in your battery will kill the switch eventually. Like duel coil... The eGo battery does not supply enough power to the heating coils to properly fire it so basically, it strains it. Also, low resistance depletes your battery quicker which weakens it over time. The duals need a true 3.7v for them to work to their full potential but the ego is only capable of 3.4V under load. One more thing, low resistance puts out a lot of heat. Once that heats enters the battery, it doesn't play well with your switch.

I figure I change the lights in a flashlight I use all day long. 6-11 months ish all day for $22... your still beating out over analogs. Its a consumable part - I say use it and enjoy. Buy backup!
