Hey peoples- I recently bought my first upgraded pv- ego twist- and have been using that with vision clearomizers. Next step is to find some juices that I like, but before I start committing to any I had some Q's about the chemical interactions between juice and these plastic tanks. Some threads on this forum have discussed certain juices creating an acidic environment that can ruin their parts, and even result in cracking or total malfunction of the unit. What I'm trying to determine is exactly what to look for and ways to figure this out without wasting time and money burning through tanks and buying juice that will not work well with them.

The local shop that sold me this gear also has a juice 'bar' where they spare a few drips to test out before purchasing a bottle. I was wondering-

1) what type of juices cause this problem? Are they limited to only acidic ones?
2) is there any way to test juice beforehand? maybe a litmus test to check pH, or does the acidic quality manifest only inside the tank environment?
3) what signs will I see if there's a bad interaction? Some mentioned steaming up inside the tank, others said cracking. Are these true, and are there any other symptoms?
4) are there tanks that aren't affected by juices? what material are they made of or which brand/model?

I will be happy to research/test to help find a solution to this problem if needed. I figure that's what we do here- to improve the overall quality of the vaping experience, and it's my pleasure to contribute since I plan to vape for a loooong time. Cheers
