Tanks dont make no sense!

I fill like tj shows, no leaks on my M1A1 in months.
-Remove carto tank from PV
-Remove drip tip
-Loosen side screw (in an M1A1)
-Slide carto down, so there is an air gap at the top, carto below the top cap a bit
-Hold the tank at a slight angle, drip eliquid into the side until it's close to full
-Slide carto back up through the top cap
-Reattach drip tip
-Tighten screw
-Blow gently through DT, catch excess eliquid at the battery connector end, wipe connector
-Reattach to PV

The above is actually pretty fast, a minute or so. No excess tank pressure, since it's filled from the top. Doesn't seem to harm the o-rings, I've been doing this 3x a day since the M1A1 came out, plus carto changes every 3 - 4 days.

I love the tank I use. Was intimidated at first but love it after l figured it out.

Filling from the top by sliding the carto hasn't improved things for me either. I have found that if I leave the screw loose for awhile on the M1A1 after filling that the leaking will stop sooner........

On the screw, make sure you don't really crank it down. Just gentle contact on the carto will keep it locked in place nicely. I've got a full thread showing outside the tank body.

tj, I just wanted to tell you that the suggestion of withdrawing a syringe of air before refilling, and continuing to use the M1A1 tank with the fill port has worked best for me so far. Thank you.
