Hi hopefully someone can help with this, i have a herakles tank that i love but recently i tried a tank of a blueberry lemon cheesecake and didnt like it that well so i cleaned it out after and filled it back up with my fav, problem is everything taste like blueberrys now :(, i took everything apart again and cleaned and i narrowed it down to the seals in the tank that heavyly smell of the blueberry still, is there anything i can use to get it out?
Thanks for any help.

You did change to a new coil, yes? If not, try that. (Although flavor left in the wick will eventually be flushed out with the new flavor...)

You could try soaking the base in a denture cleaning tab. Some have reported success soaking in vodka, or baking soda.

Don't have that tank, but if you can remove the seals for better cleaning under them...

Ditto for David. :)

I just made this post in another thread so please humor me. It's quite detailed but hey, I have OCD tendencies /lol /jk This will probably resolve your issue.

Here is a step by step that I have used for years. After a few cleans it becomes second nature and you don't even think about each step. Procedures rule and I'm not OCD /lol /yet

- Create a "cleaning station" near your sink or water source. No kids, pets, or food around when you clean your tanks
- Get a cheap "screen" to cover your drain so parts don't disappear. Thank me later /lol /jk
- Strip your tank down. Inspect Orings. Remove your head for cleaning. You can also sometimes wash the wick in your head to clean it. When in doubt, replace it. If you see a funky looking oring replace it.
- Wash all parts in hot water
- I use a plastic container and Denture Cleaner tabs for the next step. If done properly, No chemical taste remains
- Soak everything in your plastic container which you filled with HOT water and a Denture cleaner tab
- Let your parts soak in the bath for around 20 minutes
- After the bath, wash all the parts with hot water
- Let your parts dry. Sometimes overnight or if you are in a hurry use that air in a can stuff to dry
- Assemble and lubricate with juice
- Fill and vape. ENJOY!

NOTE: I'm assuming your using a "tank" with replaceable heads since I didn't mention the coil. If your using a rebuildable (RTA) like a KayFun. Almost the same procedure. In this case, always replace the wick. Most of the coil gunk will be removed but if it is not then with the wick removed, a couple of very short burst of power and air in a can usually cleans the Kanthal coil. If not, I replace the coil. We call this a "dry burn" and some folks support it and others don't. I'm a single coil flavor chasing maniac :) who vapes between 13-15 watts max.

BTW, I also have a dedicated "filling station" and a dedicated "DIY station" in case you are interested.

:)
