The color looks different mainly because of different lighting. There are some small pits and scratches in the clear coat from wear and tear but I expected that. Today is exactly 1 month of use too btw. Yes sir, I'd say it has worked out quite well and I appreciate your extra effort for me
I have a purple blemished Buzz (purchased that way, lol) that the "paint" is wearing off where my fingers and thumb rest on it -- under the LED and under the button. I am not complaining, Mike, just wanted to let you know for reference. Heck, I don't even think you're making the purple ones, now, are you? Maybe that's why?
Bov, how's your purple holding up? Just curious...

No paint wear on my purple Buzz, it was a blemished too btw. That's interesting Pokey, mine is in my hand most of the time. Maybe I use a different brand of hand lotion LOL

Must be, lol, cause mine hardly leaves my hand, either! And, no, I don't turn green when I wear silver or nickel...
I'd take a picture to show it, but (as we all know) I kinda stink at taking pics of my Buzz, can't even get the color to look right It's really no biggie, just curious. I have not seen it mentioned before. Salem's not had any color changes, either. It must be my caustic personality, ha.
Pokey different people react differently to metals. Here is something I read:
Copper reacts to the acidity in some people and turns skin green. The piece you're wearing might not be pure copper, but it might have enough copper in it to cause a reaction, and some people seem to have body chemistry that's prone to staining. The most common stains from sterling silver jewelry are black, and occur when the metal tarnishes (darkens due to a reaction with gases in the air). Why Did My Skin Turn Green? How to Keep Jewelry from Discoloring Your Skin
On the blemished ones the finishes were ALL OVER the place that is why they sold as blemished , not really surprised by that Pokey , we had some that the anodizing was really thin , you must have one of these .
That makes sense, Buzz, thanks. It really isn't a problem, I am just one of those people who like to understand! I love my Buzz, blemishes and all...it's not perfect (on the outside), just like me! But on the inside, where it really counts...well, it's, uh, perfect (and no, not just like me, lol)
