Taste Buds...like what?!?! Menthol...

I just don't get it! I was a menthol smoker all the way...mainly marlboro smooths. SO far ive been trying different flavors...ordered some True Pure, Coolmist, and Menthol Ice from Halo! Which they are good but i cannot say a consistent throat hit of menthol. I just can't get it right! I've ordered some Atomic Cinnacide too and i keep going back to it! It's strong, tastes good and the TH is right on point! I just want ONE menthol flavor that gets it right the first time like AC did! Without going through 15 different vendors! Any feedback...goodness!! Thanks!

PureCig Menthol from FSUSA was recommended to me for the more realistic menthol analog. At first, it was WAY too perfumey for me but I took the cap off for 48 hours and let it sit for a week and tried it again tonight. I can still taste the hint of perfume but not nearly as bad and to be honest it does have a nice analog menthol feel. The problem is, 20 days without an analog and it turns out that I don't really like the analog tasting juice, I like chocolate. LOL. Figures, right?

Puresmoker Tonic Silver leaf menthol got me off of menthols after 27 years. Really nice menthol tobacco flavor. No perfume, no ashy taste. Delicious!

I only smoked menthol, and I only vape menthol (and coffee once in a while). I like Nuport (WOW) from Vapor4Life, and I like Virginia Slims menthol from Good Prophets. 100% VG for both. And if you really want COLD, try Peppermint (WOW) from V4L.

Same here! I was a diehard Newport Lights smoker and tried all kinds of menthol and tobacco menthols. Turns out I really didn't like the synthetic tobacco element in nobacco juice. When I tried V4L's Wow Peppermint juice, I was in heaven! It's on a par with A/C for TH and is one of my "go to" flavors. Has been for almost a year!

I'll have to try those sometime...so far the "best" menthol ive tasted is from Awesomevapor...not too strong to make you choke and too light to say is this regular tobacco..so! I ordered from them again! First menthol i tasted when i started vaping!!

You know what's funny? Smooth menthol from liberty flights was my first menthol and I think it's my fav as well. For being called smooth menthol it's pretty beast, then again I've got it in 100% PG. It's a really breath minty flavor but I like no I love the TH.

i was used to smoking camel crush menthol lights. still searching.......

I smoked for 28 years...last 15 menthols...I mean harsh nasty Seneca's that can only be purchased on reservations. I tried and tried to find a menthol close to it. Nothing in menthol tasted worth a darn until I found PureCig with menthol from freedomsmokeusa.

I too am a menthol junkie and have searched far and wide looking for a good menthol. Someone recommended I try Newport from freedomsmokeusa.com. Got a 60ml bottle last week and just ordered another 120ml bottle today. I like it better than any menthol I've found so far - and believe me I've tried a bunch of them in the past 14 months. But realize that it's really a very personal thing. How many menthol analogs are there on the market and there's someone out there who likes each one of them.

I am surprised no one has mentioned just buying menthols drops or crystals. I mentholize pretty much anything. Light to strong menthol.. Any flavor can have the menthol kick if you want. One of my favs is my Bavarian Fudge Creme, I just add some menthol drops and wham... my favorite flavor in menthol. Just try it if you are still looking for that perfect menthol.

+10 I see you beat me to it. I too smoked menthol and vaped many here. Had a DIYer offer me a sample mixed with the crystals. It was the best TH so I'm ordering and making my own menthol to suit my needs(soon). Why not add a few drops or crystals to what you have to get what you want?

Just thought of this. Using either drops or crystals, just a couple of either will give you menthol. Don't over do it... I do all the time.. like breathing Artic air. ha... And about the crystals, many people are concerned about them melting.. i have heard, i heat it i freeze it and other thoughts. Just drop a couple crystals in the mix and let it mix.. i shake it once in a while.. in about a hour they will be totally gone.. probably less.. Just remember to start light and then go as heavy as you want.

I was (am) also a menthol smoker.... and so far menthol is all I like to vape. I started with liberty flights menthol blend, and I really like it, but I would really like a USA made juice.....and I am pretty sure LF is china made. any suggestions of a usa juice that would match the LF one? I have tried smooth and robacco menthol from juicy vapors. the longer I have them the better they get, but aren't quite there. I also have crush and nuport from gourmet vapors, I think they need to steep some more. also have all three menthols from halo, but am letting them steep some more too, but so far nothing matches LF menthol blend. so far there is something in the usa juices I've tried that I don't like...today I smelled the same thing in some BBQ sauce! it looks like I am going to be one with difficult taste buds

My two favorite menthols I've tried are the Hypermint from BlueMistVaping, a mint/menthol blend similar to what you'd get with menthol drops or cyrstals, and Menthol from LibertyFlights, a STRONG menthol flavor that is somehow different from all the other menthols I've tried. Neither of these have any tobacco flavors, but both vendors have menthol tobacco flavors available, I just don't care for the tobacco flavors I've tried from any vendor.

I was a menthol smoker. Unlike the op, I am hooked on Halo TruePure. I do add menthol crystals on occasion when I need more menthol hit. I have recently tried Cinful Mint from Vixen Vapors and it is great for a change. I do mix it with my TruePure to tone it down a little.

You could try Arctic Ice from Vaporbomb. It's a strong methol, but it isn't a tobacco flavor. You said you liked AC, so I'll also suggest Fire n Ice from VB too. It's a nice menthol cinnamon hit =]

LOL I really think my tastebuds are changing quite a bit.

For me I was a big menthol smoker. Found a pretty good one that tasted close to the Cdn brand I smoked. Now a month in and I can't stand menthol or any tobacco flavours. I shudder thinking about it. Suddenly I want sweet or full flavoured coffee. The closest I will come to a menthol is a cinnamon flavour.
