So I guess I should start by describing my equipment.
I have a Joye Tech 510-T starter kit with two additional e-Go Twist batteries.
I have liquid from Johnson Creek and Mr. Vape (sample kits).
I started vaping yesterday and everything was great. I tried the Johnson Creek domestic, Tennessee, dark swiss, and Wisconsin.
All the flavors tasted great, and I really thought I had found a solution to cigarettes.
Today, I got up, had the wisconsin already loaded in a tank, and took a few puffs.
The taste was different and sort of burnt. I then switched to the domestic which I had really liked yesterday. Well I can only say that the taste was not the same. Most of the flavor was not there and I still experienced some of the burnt taste.
I have tried both atomizers and tried both style of batteries as well as adjusting the voltage on the twist batteries.
I have also tried blowing through the atomizers into a napkin to clear them out.
Still the vapor lacks flavor and I am still experiencing the bad taste.
I was really expecting a more maintenance free experience and a longer duration before something breaks.
Any help would be appreciated.

Sounds like you fried your atomizers. Are you using a wick system? I found that these can't keep up if I'm vaping heavily, so they dry up and the wick gets fried where the coil is. Even when not vaping heavily, i seem to fry them quickly. Cartomizers seem to work better for me, and the flavor seems better, anyway.

Hi - Burnt is never good; but also be prepared for flavors to change on you without warning. Smoking tobacco has damaged your taste buds and it can take awhile for them to settle down. Even after 2 months, something can taste good to me one day and weird the next. Keeping a broad variety of juices in rotation can help, even samples of flavors you'd never think you liked. :2c:

I have a tank system. The 510-T starter kit. I do have some polyester filled cartridges, but I have only used one just to try it out. Mostly I have been using the tanks.
Is there any solution to this if I did fry the atomizers?

I realize burnt is never good. But I tried peppermint patty from mr vape and I am still experiencing the same issues. I still get plenty of vapor, but the taste is not good like yesterday.

Is it possible that something broke from one day of use?

I've always found 'dark' liquids to be bad on attys, causing them to gunk up and become useless, but never within a day. More like 2 weeks.

The burnt taste is usually down to the atty not containing enough fluid, and so you get the taste of the wick or coil. It's horrible. I would try first dripping some liquid straight onto the atty (2 or 3 drops), and then I usually take a hard drag without pressing the button (if you've got a manual battery). This usually gets some liquid into the atty and gets it going again. Not sure how 'official' this advice is though, it's just what I'd do. Personally, if that doesn't work, I'd then go back to the supplier and ask them to offer a replacement, the burnt taste isn't normal if you've got liquid in the tank.

please help

Unfortunately, vaping has a steep learning curve. It's also hard to give really specific advice when, like me, I have no experience with your set-up. If would be great if you could find a shop where you can show someone what the problem is. If you don't mind driving, Vixen Vapors is about an hour from you in Pantego, TX. There may be closer shops, but I buy from them regularly online and they are nice.

My setup I thought was pretty basic just the joye tech 510-T and the eGo Twist additional batteries.

Hi again! You didn't say if you bought your kit at a shop or if you've been to one before, but there is a Vaporescence shop in Denton. I don't know anything about them, but they have both good and bad reviews on ECF (You can get more info using the search box).

I bought the equipment from Liberty Flights, but I may check out that shop this weekend or early next week. They are about five minutes from me.

Those 510-T tanks dont wick that great. Try dripping your juice directly on your atomizers. That should help.Good luck,I hope you find out whats up.

It seemed like it was doing okay for a bit recently. Then I took a few puffs using the Tennessee Cured, and I could feel the atomizer heating up. Then I could not get any vapor and it tasted like sucking on an ashtray. (This happened earlier as well.) I just set it down after that to make this post.

And I have been putting liquid on the atomizer stem, but this does not help me when I am going to be away from home.

Is there a possibly the atomizers could be bad?

I think I have it figured out. I believe the atomizers were not puncturing the all the tanks correctly, only slightly piercing but not opening the hole enough for liquid to pass freely. I took a pair of pliers and punctured all the tanks to make sure each one was open enough to allow liquid to flow freely. Thanks everyone for the kind words and support.
