Okay so I bought a cool fire 4 around January time, it's had a few bumps and knocks but works just fine (mainly just scratches on the battery part) im having an issue with a burning taste. I often use heisenburg or something with a menthol taste in it (apart from just menthol as I find it too strong), I change the coil regularly as soon as I get a burnt taste and when changing allow to sit for around 30 minutes to ensure it soaks in properly before using. However if I use anything that doesn't have a menthol taste to it within 3-4 inhales it begins to taste burnt, ill leave it 20 seconds and itll be fine for another 3-4 puffs, its on 20w so it's not too high, and I get my eliquid from cigara, so it's not some cheap market stuff, im bemused. Whenever I have anything with a slight taste of menthol this never happens.
I also have a problem with lack of flavour, which I know isn't my taste buds as when buying my current eliquid (grape) they were showing me a new ecig and let me try it, which just so happened to have the same eliquid as I'd just bought, I could taste it just fine! Put it in mine, there's no taste and after 3-4 puffs it's tasting burnt:/ I changed the coil yesterday! Starting doing it pretty much straight after I started using it after leaving it to soak in for half an hour. They haven't a clue what's happening and its making me turn to smoking again, help!

(Apologies for the ramble :L)

I've found that menthol liquids handle higher power than sweetened liquids. I'd try dialing back the power for those flavors. Another possibility is that the sweetened liquids aren't wicking as well as your mentholated ones, leading to partially dry hits. You might want to share your experience with that shop and see if they can help diagnose it. Good luck!

The menthol is likely a thinner liquid and wicks faster than the others, as well as mask the burnt flavour well, therefore no burnt taste.

It may simply be the time on your journey to get yourself a complete second set-up to rotate through during the course of your day.

This will minimize overusing this device and allow time for the liquid to wick while you puff on the new one a bit. Cheers.

I'm with top water elvis, what are you using for a tank what is the ohm range of the coil and are you properly priming the coil during installation. And if you are over atomizing the liquid it is going to burn and the flavor will be muted by caramelizing of the juice on the coil which will prevent proper atomization of any consecutive firing attempts, leaving the flavor profile lacking any luster.
