I emailed TV earlier today, but have not heard back from them and am getting anxious to place my order. I'm hoping someone from ECF might be able to answer a few questions for me. I've heard good things about there Cafe Mocha e-liquid and wanted to try it. If I usually smoke 6 mg., does this mean that I should buy the 12 mg. nic juice and a 2 oz. doubler and mix them 50/50 to get 6 mg. juice? Also, do I need to add sweetener? I don't know if the basic Cafe Mocha has some sugar of its own and they are just giving you the option to add more, or if it would have none if you don't check "add sweetener". Also, there is an option to choose your PG/VG mix. I have no clue what to choose for that. I currently use GS Cafe Mocha cartridges but don't know if they are all PG? I have the option with TV to choose all PG or up to 30% VG. Thanks for any advice.

if you normally use 6mg juice get the 12mg and doubler. i've never tried the sweetener from them so i don't know how much of a difference it makes. as for the PG/VG ratio a lot of people do 80/20. that's what i use and am happy with it.

when you say smoke 6mg, are you talking about vaping or cigarettes? if it's cigarettes you can't really compare them that way.

If you buy the 1oz 12mg and the 2oz doubler, you would mix 1oz of the nicotine liquid with 1oz of the doubler. Like you said, 50/50. You'll get 2oz of 6mg with 1 oz left of 0/mg for your next batch.

I have no clue what to choose for that.

PG adds throat hit. VG adds vapor. Both produce SOME of each, but use that as a metric. Do you like strong throat hits that feel like a mule hit you in the chest? Go with all or mostly PG. If you love clouds and clouds of vapor, go with mostly VG.

You mention you're on carts from a supplier. I suspect you're probably not getting much of either, given the wide world of juices.

My recommendation would be to look at the 50/50 range for a nice balance of both. If the TH isn't enough, up the PG on your next order. If it's to much, go with more PG. That's really a matter of preference, there's no "better" option.

I personally like 60% PG with 40% VG.

Yes, I usually use 6 mg. juice, not cigs. I actually quit cigs. 1 yr. and 3 wks. ago. I smoked for 33 yrs.!! It sounds like I am on the right track with mixing the doubler with the nic juice to get my 6 mg.

As far as the PG/VG ratio, I like both TH and Vapor. The highest VG ratio they offer is 30%. Based on info. above, it sounds as though I should order either 20 or 30% VG.

Thanks so much for the information!

Seems a shame to waste an once of doubler. If you don't have any use for 0 nic juice consider swinging your nic level up or down 2 mg. Order 24mg and end up with 3 oz of 8mg juice. Order 12 and end up with 3 oz of 4. If you like the flavor I guess you could save half the doubler and just get juice on your next order. The screams you hear are the buffaloes on the nickels.

If you are mixing one part nic with 2 parts non-nic, the strength of the mixed liquid will be 1/3 of the original liquid. Just divide that number by 3. 24mg unmixed gives you 8mg mixed for example. There are DIY calculators that can help with the math of mixing.

If you're having cravings you should consider increasing your nic level. 6mg is low. 36mg is usually the highest nic level considered safe. 18mg is a popular medium. If you're not sure what level works best for you, mix small batches with the doubler in different amounts until you find your sweet spot.

If you haven't checked out the stickys and the library make sure you do. Lots of great info there.
