A question, how many ohms should a 0.2 ohm Ni200 coil (cold) be at 600F ?
I think I got it, something around 0.55 - 0.56 ohms.... maybe

I think you're very close. With a TFR of approx. 2.8 at 600°f, a .2 ohm Ni200 build would be .56 ohms assuming static res is zero. I'm just guessing at the TFR because I have not found a chart showing TFR at exactly 600°f.

I think they meant malleability, is it springy?
Malleability is a property that describes the ability of a lump of material to be beaten into a sheet! Lol! Not sure what the correct description of springiness would be...ductility is stretching it out I think...anybody?

How malleable a metal is directly relates to how soft or hard it is, harder equals springy.

I like this comparison from yahoo answers:

"The difference between malleability and ductility is that malleability is the ability to deform easily upon the application of a compressive force, and ductility is doing the same with tensile force."

Ductility also implies that the metal does not work harden much when deformed.

I like the use of the word malleability when describing lessening the springyness of wire through heating. But then again I'm not a metallurgist. @druckle ?

Why I was wondering about the NiFe30 is that is the only one I can find at vape Mesh. I was wondering if there was a wire that gave you the flavor of Ti with maybe a longer time between cleaning. Not get so gunked up. How is SS. I'm not into buying from Germany too much have had problems with shipping before. UK is good in the US I am not sure where you get the different wires except Unkamen. I would like to find a wire that lasts, cleans easily and works well with TC now that I have adjustable TCR.

I am trying to understand something about SS. Which is the best to use and what type of coil works best for TC. I see the lower the number the lower the resistance like SS304 is lower then SS316 is that correct. So you could set the upgraded SXM for most of the SS grades pretty easily but for TC which is the best SS to use and coil type contact or spaced size and coils. Would like to give it a try from what I have been hearing. Also is there a place in the US to get it. I see Unkamen has it but not sure which type it is but I saw there that they will be carrying 317 soon. I know this is probably already discussed here but too lazy to go through 112 pages.

I did a lot of editing in that post could you read it again. Which one is the 430 is that the only one they have in stock presently? I am not sure but I think the upgrade allows you to go clear to .00050 for a TCR but I would have to look at it again and I don't want to mess anything up they are all working so well right now on Ti

How hard is SS316L 26awg to work with. I see they have that at Vape Mesh and a 5 wrap spaced coil comes out around .4ohms.

I know you have a Coil Master or Kuro Coiler. You can build contact coils with those. Install to your atty, dry burn and vape. I have found dry burning to be essential.

So, the answer to your question is: Easy to work with.
