For the price I suppose they're worth the gamble. Personally I'll never buy anything electronic from eleaf, just too flaky for me.

As far as TC goes, I find it kind of pointless for tanks, I just don't get dry hits and they are a non issue for me on them. For RBAs however, I'll occasionally get a hit approaching dry and its annoying, for those I tend to prefer TC builds if the RBA can handle single coils.
I agree completely with this. I have an Evic VT and I enjoyed the temp control, but it's completely unnecessary for me with all my subtanks. I like using all my mods also so it's a pain having nickel coil builds that won't work on other mods.

I figure if it gives me a modest 200 days (assuming it will live 300 cycles) that would work out at around €0.13 a day - makes it worth it in my book.

That is how I look at it as well. If I get a few months out of a mod for $30 than it is hard to consider it a bad purchase.

I have as many subtanks as mods so I just pair a tank with a mod in the same way I pair batteries with mods. That way I can use all my mods with a build customized for that mod.

Yeah I did that for a little while. I still do now that I'm on vacation this week lol. Idk I'm just not huge on temp control honestly, I just don't need it I suppose. I don't run much higher than 25 watts ever, so I don't get much advantage with temp control.

I've always tried to equate to what I used to spend smoking....$30 was about 3 days worth. If the iStick40 that's currently in the hands of USPS lasts 3 months it's much more than worth it.

I think the gap is intentional. I think it's for toes that whined about the top being marred or scratched by tanks

This may actually be a good thing for me. The airhole adjustment screws on my EHpro KFL+v2 got stuck in the channels of my istick 30w a couple of times. One time it was so bad that it literally took me over an hour to get it off. I scratched up my tank and my battery pretty badly cuz of it.

Now, just in case, I have 2 small strips of duct tape covering both screw holes. Maybe I won't have to do that anymore with this gap.

Yeah but that lighthouse on the top would bother the hell out of me LOL

I dunno... I have Kinda grown to Like it. And if you are a Thumb Pusher, you Can't really see it much when it's on.

Looks about Identical sans the LED.

I'll be Honest. When I first Ordered my Kangxin, I thought the LED was the Stupidest thing I have ever Seen. And planned to De-Solder the LED off the board. And then Fill the Hole in the Top Cap with a plastic Plug.

But after a Couple of Days, I kinda liked the way it LED lights Blue when you press the Fire Button. And I did use the Light once to fill an RTA in the back seat of a car at Night.

I will probably get one of these iStick 40W TC Mods.

But would like to wait until the Full Kits (the ones that Include the New GS-Tank) are available in the USA.

I don't know that I wanted the tank but I did feel a little shorted when I opened my box and it had an empty slot where the tank is supposed to go. You would think they would have different packaging for the mod without the tank rather than just the same packaging and not put a tank in it.

I would Definitely feel Rooked if there was a Big Empty slot in something. LOL

I recently got a GS Air MS because it was Only 10 Bucks. And I liked the Size of it on either my iStick 20W or my iStick 20W Mini. I have been Blown Away how well the GS Air MS works.

So I am Interested in the GS-Tank because it is supposed to use the Same Heads as the GS Air M/MS.

For those who already have the iStick 40 - do you find the battery runs out quickly? I tend to chain vape. And if it does run out quickly does it take very long to recharge? Thanks.

I have two 18650 mods in my normal rotation - a Vmax+Nautilus (10-12w) and SXminiM+Lemo2 (TC mode). The TC40 (used in TC mode) lasts as long on a charge as the SXminiM but obviously not as long as the Vmax.

i liked my istick 50w until my kangertech nano started leaking a little juice. It got behing the fire button I think and then the damn thing would start auto firing. The next one i bought i made sure i had a silicone case on it. For me the air holes on my tank always line up above the fire button i think that's a bit of a design floor in my opinion.

OK... Here is what I want to know.

Who is going to be the 1st to take their iStick 40W TC apart and post Pictures of it?

Here is what an iStick 20W looks like on the Inside.
