It would help to know more, like what flavor and if you are direct lung or mouth to lung, what tank and so on. Wattage doesn't matter much in TC. It's more like a speed limit, a "do not exceed" value. The amount and temp of the vape is controlled by the temp setting. If you're not getting long ramp time-- push the button and have to wait for vapor-- you've set enough watts. Your setting doesn't matter after the coil reaches temp, the mod will use less power to keep it there.

For starters, try setting watts at 40. Then set temp at 375ºF. Take a vape or two and see if you like it. If it's too hot, or too cloudy, drop 50º and try again. If too weak, go up 20º and try again. When you get in the right range, move it up and down by 5º until you hit the sweet spot. And bear in mind you likely to have different sweet spots for each juice.

Welcome to the board.

Hi suprtrkr,

Many thanks for your quick reply. I'm quite new to vaping as I'm trying to quit smoking. I have earlier used kanthal coil but now would like to try Ti 0.5 coil.

I'm using below device which comes along with melo2 tank
iStick TC60W | iStick Electronic Cigarette Kit | Eleaf UK
I'm using 6mg Chilled Cherry ejuice from this link
Titus ADV E-Liquid | Eleaf UK E-liquid | E-Juice

This device also comes with airflow, please can you advise if airflow makes difference in getting the Sweet Spot. I also tried using 40W with 370F until 480F increasing by 10F, but no luck unfortunately (with medium airflow).

Thanks again.

What are you vaping? (the liquid?)

I can't see anybody finding a sweet spot with those liquids. It's vile and it's so expensive.

You have a nice mod and a good tank, but something has gone wrong here.

What other types of vaping (power, tank) have you tried? I couldn't vape at 40w full stop and those liquids are just ... omg.

Sorry @Satish

Yes, air flow makes a difference. We're kinda up against a hard spot here. I don't understand what you're looking for in your sweet spot, or why you feel what you have is lacking. Try adjusting the temp until the amount and temperature of the vapor is close to what you want, then adjusting the air flow for flavor. Remember they are interdependent: greater air flow increases vapor volume and lowers temp.

Sorry @Satish

Like your frankness, can you tell me why you think those liquids aren't right and can you suggest me other liquids/brands ?

Satish, I have the iStick TC40W and it was recommended that I not mess with TC until I became accustomed to a MOD. I have found with my Nautilus Mini using the original BVC coild I am happiest at 12 to 12.5 Watts. I also keep the air flow open fully. Being a person attempting to use vaping as a means to quit smoking I would recommend the simplest vaping experience you can have. No need for added stress or frustration Good Luck with quitting!

Thanks @Satish - it was late and I was frustrated.
We (us in the UK) are somewhat in the grip of a vaping mafia, you have found some of the companies on your shopping trips.
Also, the current trend for starting vaping with mega power mods and tanks, temp control and stuff is just a bit 'much' really for many people.
I'm not saying 40w temp control is wrong, but that sort of vaping needs really well-thought-out liquids.
The mafia (as I'm calling it) just bottles up 'stuff' and attaches a £4.99 or £5.99 or even  a £6.99 price tag.
The thing is, the liquids are well-known for being lower than the best... nobody knows why, but they are still living in the dark days of 2011.

Look on Vapeclub for premium e-liquids (USA, UK)
or
LT e-cigs for value
or
One Pound e-liquid for bargain basement (I don't use much, I must say).
