Teens being hospitalized with lung disease doctor's say it's vaping

Lots of people take up vaping who never smoked. Not just teenagers either.

I know several construction workers who vape minimod devices or pens who never smoked. They say they enjoy a few drags of nicotine from a device that is safer than cigarettes and cigars. Some switched from dipping.

Now I have one coworker who used to smoke with a jaw full of backy and wearing a patch. My boss asked me "why does he sweat so much in January, is it from smoking while dipping?" I replied "nah, it began when he started wearing a patch too". He stopped all of it after taking up vaping with a "nic stick cig-a-like" he calls it. He said his wife (who never smoked) took up vaping to get off her nerve pills. He tried it he said and was all in after one weekend.

Somehow they need to clear this from the stigma of normal vaping!
This article states they were vaping THC so it should NOT be under the vaping umbrella.

I Completely Agree that branding this under the term "Vaping" is Misleading and Undermining the Legitimacy of e-Cigarettes as Harm Reduction.

But at least Mr. Downs had the Journalist Integrity to write a Headline that Accurately Portrays the reality of what has be occurring. Verses using a Headline to Promote and Repeat the FUD that just about Every media outlet has been spreading.

So for that, I applaud him.
