So I'm pretty new to temp control and I don't know what's going on but I'm trying to vape a Ni200 coil in a Crown tank on top of a Kanger K-Box 70w. I am switching into Ni mode but after firing it, the mode keeps switching back into Wattage.

For information purposes, the coil I have on here is showing a resistance of .35 ohms. Is this normal? I thought Ni was supposed to be around 0.1

Thank you

Are you Locking the Base resitance before attempting to use the Tank?

I'm wondering about the same thing. I just built a Ti01 coils in my nobunaga rda and when I put on the RX200, it wouldn't switch to titanium mode, so I either have to use it on my IPV3Li or my DNA200 instead. Oh, the dual coils came out about 0.3 ohm.

Coil selection is mechanical - USER - and is not effected by the Coil/tank on the mod.
Check your manual for proper steps.
Have you updated to 1.08 yet?

On the RX, it supposes to round robin from wattage to ti to ni and so on, but for this one, it just goes back and forth from normal to nickle without the titanium option.
An yes, I have upgraded to 1.08.

Oops.........Replied to wrong post. Yours was a Registering issue. Was the tank on when updating?
Did you ever reset the tank after updating?
I generally fire a mod with Tank off to reset things when making changes.
Removing the batteries for a few minutes can also correct issues.

Now all of a sudden after 3 hours of the coil having a resistance of .35, it now is reading at .16 and the K-Box is allowing me to vape in Temp Control mode.

I wonder why there would be such a large discrepancy in resistance reading.

Poor Contact - Coil attachment/510 threading/etc.
Also note - Coil heads use pressure from a silicone gasket to make the coil legs contact +/- terminations. These can take time to settle, as well as possibly be assembled incorrectly.

Hmmm, I didn't know you have to take the atom off when updating, so I didn't. I will re-update tomorrow since it's almost 3 am. now.
Thanks again. Oh, and I will also do what you do too, firing a mod with tank off. As for batteries removal, I always charge my bats with charger unless it's a built-in.

Hey Guys quick question. I am using a Indestructible Addy with TI sweet spot .5 mm wire. Its a dual coil 6 wrap registering at .24 ohms. It keeps kicking back into wattage mode. Even after locking resitance. Any thing I could be doing wrong?
Thanks!

Lock the resistance when the coil is cold.
tighten the post screws
