Hiyo,

I received the m401 platinum starter kit from puresmoker last week. It came with both one of the longer and shorter batteries. (Along with 2 additional longer batteries)

I just finished charging up the short battery yesterday (10 hrs) and tried it out. It worked for 3 drags and then I couldn't get it to work anymore. So I threw it back on the charger today (4hrs), thinking maybe the small ones die really REALLY fast. Pulled it off and just tried it again just now and I found something interesting. It only works sometimes, usually if I cover one or two of the holes on the atomizer. I think the switch is borked.

Is this common with the smaller ones? I have no problem yet with the 3 longer batteries I purchased.

Thanks,
-Kag

Batteries of all kinds are plagued with manufacturing inconsistencies at present in the e-cig market imho. If it's playing up let your supplier know and I'm sure that they'll replace it for you.

I have used the smaller battery on my Evo and found it to be very reliable (they're similar models). Clearly it has a shorter life than the big ones, but you should still get several hours out of it.

Hey Kagaden,
It sounds like you might have a defective battery.
Does the battery indicator on the charger light up after you put it on the charger?
Does the battery connector (from the atomizer leaking) have any liquid on it?
Try and blow out the atomizer through the battery end and see if that helps.
Please pm me your information and your order number and I'm sure we can get everything worked out for you asap.

Thanks,
-Daniel

Hi Daniel,

-It does charge when I put it on the charger (blinks 5x).
-It does not have any liquid on it.
-I blew out the atomizer remoisturized and tried again, then tried a different one and it does the same thing.
-It does light up sometimes depending on how I hold it or if I have holes covered. When it does work, I get plenty of vapor which leads me to believe it's a switch problem, not a charging problem.

I'll PM ya the information requested. I was mostly just wondering if this was a common thing. I have 3 other batteries I purchased that are working well.

Thanks,
-Kag
