I don't have any 801, or any adapters for it...I do believe I need one? I am willing to try anything, seeing I just bought these batteries after days of research on this forum specifically in regards to the matter. I guess I jumped the gun on this? I love my sb with a passion......I just want it to work!!! If anyone can direct me towards somewhere to make a purchase for the 801's I would be greatly appreciative! Thanks, again......I need a blumpkin.:pervy: j/k

901 atomizer should work too (need adapter). You'd need a 510 battery to 801 or 901 atomizer adapters.

The deal is that the 2 510 atomizers are drawing too much current and tripping the protection circuit on the batteries. 510 HV atomizers might work too (you'd probably want the 4.5ohm ones but they might run too cold).

Basically you want more resistance. A 510 is about 2.2ohm, a 801 about 3.5ohm, a 901 about 3.7ohm. something like that.

so I have been doing some research based upon several opinions, I just want to make sure I am making the right purchase....I am kinda leaning to wards a Model 801 high voltage atomizer, or could I just get the 501 hv atomizer and have to purchase a separate adapter for the 801? Everything I have is 501.....keep in mind this all due to the rcr123a's not working on my dbsb
