Figure I post here to let anyone know who has not come by this method - best one I've seen! - All credit goes to Rob McGlothin, who according to him came upon this by accident. Came across this video after the discussion on the Pv3 thread about not torching/dry burning coils and it seems with this method that wont be necessary. Have not had the chance to try it out!

Nice video but making a micro coil isn't rocket science. All I use to make mine is a long piece of wire and a toothpick and they come out just as good every single time. Wrap it carefully, apply tension by pulling on the ends. Place it on your atomiser. Fire it up for a few secs and squeeze with some pliers if needed. You're good to go. Whole process takes only a couple of minutes.

Well good for you soulseek, but try doing that with bad eye sight, poor coordination, arthritis and bishopeals lumpa lumpa fingers (is that the phrase he uses), LOL!

you still burn wires like this seek. Better do it as pin's video if you like tight coils. To my opinion tight coils dont offer something more than closed coils but anyway its a great method

great vid aalwani, simple, smart and efficient coiling method ... I've now no reason to torch the kanthal to build the coil :)
just need to find an efficient way of cleaning glunky coils to get rid of torching !!

Hot water and toothbrush. But I'm lazy I still dry burn.

It's called a pin vise/vice. Google it. Got it from amazon. Basically it is a small manual drill. It is used in arts and crafts. It is like the precision screwdriver but bigger. You put your Palm on the end of it and turn the center with your fingers just like you do with a screwdriver. The advantage is that it has a collet so it accepts different sizes drill bits and you can secure the wire in it.

Stupid question imeo but would it be safe to remove wick and fire the coil under running water? Just asking
