Tequila for cleaning a atty?

I live 35 miles from the nearest liquor store and all I have in the house is whiskey(s) and a bottle of clear (white) tequila. Can I use this to clean a new atty I bought? If not, can you give me some ways to clean it that doesn't involve vodka or everclear?

OK, Thanks! I was worried maybe the amber whisky might deposit residue on the atty or something. I figured that's why everyone always talks about everclear and vodka - because they have the least (flavor) contaminants. I'll give it a try!

You could also use Vinegar.

Whatever you use, be sure to give it a Good Rinse when you're Done.

I used Georgia Peach flavored vodka to clean an atty once...XD

Very hot water works pretty good, until you can get to the store to get some clear spirits.
