So where can I get this atty besides SVC? hoosiervapes is sold out but had it priced very nicely.

The Terminator at SVC is not the same as the clone at HV. Thats why the price is different. The one at HV is a clone of the Term, from China. There will be another co-op soon for the clone and it will be less than HV.

Is the one from HV the same as the one in your present COOP?

Something I'm thinking about here. The video for the Tobeco clone shows the guy placing a silicone gasket between the mouth piece and the locking ring. I think that it probably goes under the locking ring instead because what possible function could it have there. I will try this on my Terminator, looks like an easy solution for the ground wire problem

OK, I put a silicone o-ring under the locking nut and trapped the ground wire there also, complete success

Yeah, I noticed that too. Something isn't right about that whole thing.

Both wires on the pos post doesn't make any sense to me. I have seen in the earliest genisis atties, using just mesh without a coil when the experimenting began. When it was made using silver posts, people would bend the posts over to touch the wick, and it would indeed do something, though I'm not sure how the process worked.

I am assuming the current just passes from one post, through the wick, to the other post....path of least resistance kind of thing.

I don't get it! He connects the negative wire to the center post, and then the positive wire also. Or am I missing something?

Your thinking is correct, surely the negative wire must move outward when he tightens the post other wise it's a dead short.

I've just been putting a bend in the negative wire, so it sticks out straight when I push the wick into the channel. Then I bend that over top the wick, and trim it so it doesn't extend further than the ceramic. Makes perfect contact every time, and no need to wrap it around the wick. Only trick to it is making sure it's situated so the action of screwing the coil assembly into the base pushes it down rather than scoops it up.

Is the one from discount the same as SVC?

There's a huge price difference.

I'll see if I can find out for sure, but I'm thinking it is. I don't think Eric over at DV would advertise it as the Terminator-C if it were a different atomizer. I'm wondering if maybe the manufacturer mandated price expired along with distributing exclusivity.

Eric (owner and everything else at DV) just told me that he can't say whether his Terminator-C comes from the same place as Stormy's but he knows they are from the same manufacturer. Makes sense since the Terminator and the Tobeco clone are the only 2 Ody clones I know if, and the Terminator-C on his site looks like my Terminator-C and is clearly different from the Oddity he's selling. Oh, and though it's probably obvious at this point, he did confirm that the Oddity he's selling is the Tobeco Ody clone.

I really expected problems with my new Oddity (Cody)but other than the puny wick and coil everything went well.
I'm to understand that the rebuildable part will interchange with the others , that positive post/airtube appears to be SS.
I'll try swaping with a Term when I get a chance. I ordered a C from DV, I'm getting out of control here.

With adding the clear/white o-ring between the net nut and mouthpiece I've had no leaking and have vaped 3 tankfulls this afternoon and evening on my Cody from HV. Been working well but need to look at a replacement ring or two as the supplied ones that where not installed upon arrival are thin and weak and will eventually breakdown.

Here's perhaps something of interest to some, I have Dremeled my ceramics to accommodate 3.5 mm wick but have noticed that I get the best results using 2 mm with an extra 2 mm short piece added through the coil as in Bonner's video.
3.5 mm works good but not as good as 2 mm, I want to try some 2.5 mm when ever I get more

So a long channelled one and a shorter, double piece, on the top if I remember correctly?

I just got some 3mm high temp silica from Doolak @ VapourBreak (Germany) after 12 days in the post and will rebuild one like that and test her out. No dremel channels as of now but have the tools to do it. I'm hoping this silica rope I can unwind some threads and get it small enough but was told it fit's an authentic Oddy fine. Will have to try once I'm off work.

Cheers,
