So i just received the Term C from SVC and it is exactly the same as the orig Ody, except the MP knurling is causing the air pocket. I have an extended MP from the Ody x pack, and it has the stopper so it cant come off the rba. Im going to switch them out when the tan is empty.
What an amazing difference from the clones. Do not buy a clone. buy the Term.

So a long channelled one and a shorter, double piece, on the top if I remember correctly?

I just got some 3mm high temp silica from Doolak @ VapourBreak (Germany) after 12 days in the post and will rebuild one like that and test her out. No dremel channels as of now but have the tools to do it. I'm hoping this silica rope I can unwind some threads and get it small enough but was told it fit's an authentic Oddy fine. Will have to try once I'm off work.

Cheers,
~Icky
you're probably gonna have to thin it out a little down the sides.
I have some also, it looks small but is not

Same here. I'm looking forward to testing that wick out in my clone as well. See if it stand up to the hype ;)

So, now that the atomizers are in, what the general consensus? Is it a hit or miss? I was wondering if there was going to be a round 2. Sorry, guess I could read the previous posts, but Im sick, so there.

How different from the Stormys Terminator is it and even with the difference in quality or build, does it work? Is there still going to be a co-op for the Kir Fanis clear tanks? Inquiring minds want to know. :) Remember at Gr Modders the clear tanks are aprx 16.00 + the shipping. If that price thru the co-op is better, I really need a couple. Thanks kwalka and everyone else that has put this co-op together

Well I am having some issues with my term. I can't quite get it to wick right. One hit is good and the next it's gurgling . I can't get the juice flow right on. I also have this big air bubble too. Thought it might be the top cap being to tight so I loosed it and it got better and the next hit it flooded. I was thinking of getting ether the tank and mouth piece from silica wicks.com or one of the ones from rampage. But undecided. Anyone have ether of the tanks for ether vendor. Please help!!!!

More likely than not the o-ring inside the tank top, the one that seals against the mouth piece stem, is not sealing and letting air in.
Check to see if it is centered and if so close liquid control, diassemble the tank top, lube the o-ring with juice or film of Vaseline.
Re-assemble making sure that the collar that compresses the o-ring is tight as possible.

I will have to say that my initial experiences with the Terminator wasn't great. I have experience with RBA's but never owned an Ody basically because the were never available. I have however had a Penelope since they were first released and absolutely love it. When I first tried the Terminator it was a mix of dry hits and flooding. I never could get it to vape just right. It was one way or the other. I read a number if tips and hints but it still wasn't just right. I tried making the channels wider and using different size wick. Here was my fix:

First I replaced the mouthpiece with one that I purchased from silicawicks. I got the medium tank and mouthpiece. The part of the mouthpiece that screws onto the ceramic holder is thinner so juice flows better around it.

I then replaced the O-rings in the bottom and in the cap with official Ody size orings. I got them from oringusa. The small one in the bottom is a 3x2mm and goes around the post where it screws into the base. I also put a 9 x 2mm oring under the top cap around the mouthpiece. This way I know I have official size good quality orings in place.

I went back to using a 2mm wick but also placed a short section of 3mm wick under the coil.

The last tip came from Imeo himself. I read a post he made about the top cap that screws onto the tank not actually needing an oring on the top of the tank. I was having issues with dry hits that I think were caused by drawing a vacuum in the tank. I think this eliminates that. I have removed it and it works great.

I did this several days ago and wanted to try it out and I can unequivocally say this thing is working at 100%. I can even leave the flavor control open all night with NO flooding. It vapes like a dream.

Do this, put your Term in your hand without mod, open liquid control and remove the collar that compresses the o-ring and tell me what happens. No you don't have to tell me, I know that you got juice all over your hand. It's an easy test, try it.

If some day i learn how to type then maybe i can learn to read also, I really went sideways i guess.

I agree. But doing it the way I do you can leave the top collar tight and don't have to worry about loosening it from time to time.

In other words, O-ring number 7 is removed. Number 8 is left in place.

You type faster than me.
Well it must just seal well with the threads as it must be a sealed unit to not leak, just about all flooding (uncontrollable) is caused by air leaking at the #8 o-ring , tank section works just like a cartomizer tank as to the way it feeds and doesn't leak

I have tanks and mouthpiece from both. Silica wicks one doesn't have the lip on it so less air lock problems. Best ones came from VW forum from a gentleman in Singapore. He also makes extensions out of as and plastic. He has the best prices and threw in an extra long mouthpiece. I have my term holding about 12ml of juice.
