If you can rebuild those than this will be a piece of cake, and if you like your Vivi Nova, than you will absolutely love the Terminator. Just get all the need wires and silica cause you will be using it so much that you will need it. It will come with a premade wick but I think its a 3.0 ohm and it really is a bit on the thin side. I use 3mm silica and most here do also. 32 gauge A1 kanthal and some non-resistance wire. Stormys has all your needs.

Cheers anavidfan.

I've tried novas before but not too my liking but the latest are good. I picked up some NR wire from stormy and just watched igetcha vid (the cockney geezer) on coiling the oddy. I have 1, 1.5, 2, 2.5 and 3 silica so will mess around to see which suits me best (I'll start with the 2 or 3 first).

Now I've never used cotton but just received some 2 and 3 mm braided cotton candle wick (unbleached). Can this be used or is best to stick with silica?

I'm getting excellent results with cotton square-braid #1/0 (2mm dia) wick. I run the one main wick with a short piece on top, then wrap them both together. The first wick I got five days out of, but then burnt it due to empty tank (lol).

Keep the wraps closer to the center than shown in the second pic. I changed it after taking that pic.
For the record, I'm running just awg32 Kanthal A-1. No NR wire used. I keep the wire in the ceramic channel with the cotton on top. No hotspots or burning at all (so far). My resistance is 2.8-2.9 ohms.

Hello Both Jazzy and Izzy . I use both, like the cotton, but with my "dirty" NET tobacco juices I end up having to constantly make new wicks.( 6-8 hours) My juice gunks up my coil horribly and with the cotton I cant dry burn. I cant tell the difference between cotton and a good primed silica. Both perform great and taste great. I take my silica and boil it once for 30 mins, throw out dirty water and again for another 30 mins to get any coating off. I use distilled water. Then I torch my silica for a few seconds to avoid any "new silica" taste. With my more wick/carto friendly juice I can go about 3 days of heavy, chain vaping and the coil is still relatively clean.

Great wrapping, thats the real nice thing about the cotton, its shape and firmness makes it real easy to get that perfect symetry.

This is one of my neater looking wraps. Its 3mm silica with 2 2mm pcs on top. I like to leave it sort of "bow tie" looking and I taper the the threads shorter towards bottom so it doesnt get caught up on the mouthpiece when screwing it on.

These are 2 pieces at the mouthpiece ring. I checked the remaining stock and had a few that I thought were one but sure enough they came off. They are VERY tight and you can't even see the line but it's there. Good machining, I can tell you that. ;)

Very nice to know and thank you for the quick response.

Damn!! A new version with a clear tank available on Monday. Just my luck...will you be selling clear tanks seperately?

the only concern i would have with not using nr wire is that the orings and other metal pieces are being heated unnecessarily. if heating wire is running all the way down the ceramic to the connections, it might cause undo stress and heat to other parts of the atty that you dont really wanna be heating. i could be wrong tho.

I agree with you on the extra heating concern. I tried with and without NR and so far not much of a difference overall. I'm not suggesting everyone should do it the way I am. This is what works for me, and I have plenty of o-rings :)

No reason , just didnt want it to get lost, Ive lost countless of those o-rings from my Ody, most down the sink. I hope Stormys keeps them in stock, cause the GG ones are real hard to get, sometimes months till they get them in. So Stormys will probably get some GG users from this.

got mine in the mail an hour ago and it kicks ....,I didn't know what I had been missing out on.Juices have so much more flavor, more throat hit , more vapor than on anything else I have used and I have used a lot of different products.I wouldn't swear to this but seems I may even be getting more of the nic from my juice , I normally chain vape but I had to sit this thing down and give myself a break before I OD on nic.I set it up with 30 gauge .999 dead soft silver for the leads and 32 gauge A1 kanthal for the coil. 2.5mm silica wick(cotton on it's way from e-bay). the coil is 1.5 ohm at 3.2volts and it's kicking my .....Build quality is exceptional.I am very happy I got one of these.now I have to buy another one with a clear tank.thank you Stormy's Vapor Cellar for carrying these great little RBA's

I had the same experience with mine that you have. I just made a new batch of juice and I dropped the nic down another 2mg to keep my head from exploding :) I'm in the same boat with you on the clear tank. I also noticed it is more efficient with the use of juice compared to the other RBAs I have.
