I recently replaced my ego battery with a Tesla Mod. Im currently running a Pro-tank 2 on it. I got a IGO-W to use while testing ejuices I make. The Tesla came with DISHY batteries 2200mah. Which batteries SPECIFICALLY should I be running while using the IGO-W for testing. I dont want my mod to blow up in my hands for not using the correct battery.

Your Tesla is a regulated mod--we recommend IMR batteries for all mods nowadays. You may also use a newer hybrid battery. If you're going to use very low- or sub-ohm coils, you have to make sure that your battery is rated and capable of supplying the amps needed by your setup (the knowledge of the Ohm's law comes handy here).

Please read this very informative blog entry by Baditute for more information:

Good luck.

The blog entry recommended has a very good list of recommended batteries, IMR high-drain rated 10 amp or better are what you want. The high drain is important because the Tesla requires more amperage to be able to boost the voltage, it's how Ohm's Law works...:)

The DISHY batteries 2200mah batteries are good for a flashlight, not for vaping. From what I can find about their specifications, they are only a 1C rated battery, they are ICR (not the safer chemistry) and not a high drain battery. Safety wise not good for your Tesla, and performance wise not good for your Tesla.

Any battery would be a better choice. But you do realize that a Tesla isn't going to allow sub ohm builds on that IGO W? The lowest resistance you can run on a Telsa APV is about 1.3 ohm. Anything lower than that and the built in protection will either shut the PV off or dumb it down to such a low (safe) voltage you won't get much vapor out of it.
