Im loving the taste settings!

@ddirtyvapes yeah the rain vape made me crack me but the 1st comment playing semantics was not needed.

Im from the UK so this mod is $110 once you convert here. Im clearly annoyed/sad I spent over 1 bill on a mod that might blow up

Perhaps consider it might be needed for others, if not you? :) Just playing devil's advocate. I understand what a frustrating situation this is. But others will read this thread eventually, and some may legitimately not understand that e-cigs themselves do not leak. Toppers do! That is my only point. It is better to be overly clear than not clear enough, wouldn't you tend to agree? I do get it is frustrating if it feels like someone is correcting something you already know.

Not to mention, make no mistake that this seems like an issue that is fairly unique to this mod, not something that routinely pops up (as you know from your multiple devices). So the clarity needed is double in that case.

Sorry to hear there are QC problems with the 510. I have 2 of them, and neither one has a gap between the mod housing and the 510 (see really crappy pic below of one of them -- the shadow line around the 510 is just a shadow and not a gap). Checked it out under my magnifying task light and even ran a very thin syringe needle around the edge to see if there was any slight gap. All's well. But, certainly something to check when buying one.

I wonder how much a spool of gold wire would be :lol:View attachment 653451

Well, if you wanted to buy an RTD for temperature measurement, the most common ones use Platinum, with a TCR of 375-385 depending on purity. No idea how it vapes, and no Platinum settings around I can melt down to play with.

Thank you Ddirtyvapes! Just the moment of it!

Im running it on 50-70ws using mostly the Tsunami 24 RDA using a 6 wrap juggernaut coil

But yh I thought it would be normal for the mod to get really hot? Cause its metal

It doesnt get hot using my Smok TFV8!!!
The heat from the dripper dissipates through the mod causing it to get warm.

Before I get bro'd again, I'd like to take the time to let those of you who aren't familiar with me and my antics, know that, I'm a girl

Yeah cranking the Tsunami on 50-70w on my RX200 the mod never felt hot

So I dont have to worry about the heat? At the same time... wont that heat melt the oring?

The oring is probably silicone, its rated for high heat :)

If your mod is getting hot enough to melt o-rings, something is wrong with the mod or the batteries you are using are not properly rated.

The mod will burn your hand before it melts the o ring.

Metal mods get hot with low builds and metal attys.
    Heat dissipates through the mod.

    Always check the battery.
If the battery is hot, you have a problem.
