yeah I am noticing the power on this thing is freaking crazy if I had this dual coil set up on my Primo 2.0 at 25w it would be like nothing next to no cloud but I am pulling a nice big strong cloud and good flavor with 25w and all I can think is WTF I have dropped down to 20w and starting to see a drop off and temp is still spiking to 415 for about half a second from time to time so maybe I am just seeing what the joyetech did not show maybe their firmware is not senative enugh to show the half second jumps?

Well, no mod is instantaneously going to shut of temperature the exact second it reaches the correct temp, so perhaps it is just being more accurate than your other mod? I'd say that's possible, that perhaps occasionally it jumps up over. Perhaps set your mod 3 or 4 degrees temp ceiling LOWER than what you want, so if it spikes you will still be in your "considered safe range."

Just a thought. Depending on whether you'd rather have a couple spikes from time to time vs. lower temp all the time. Keep in mind it's a nice board, but it's not a dna board, so I'm not certain exactly how accurate things are going to be. If you can get a satisfactory vape at a slightly lower temp threshold, that might put your mind more at ease? IDK, just a thought. I don't think I vape "at" what I consider a safe temp, that's far too warm for me..... So I go lower and I'm quite fine with my results. You don't have to vape "the warmest safe temp," but erring on the side of caution can be a good thing too.

oh no the temp of 400 was not a safety thing I did not believe that study it is kind of an OCD thing I just saw it doing that and worried it was a sign I got a screwed up mod. That is the big thing something goes wrong my mind instantly comes up with the worst possible outcome. 400 to me was a nice temp 440 is not to bad but I like 400 better I tried 500 once and thought I was going to die.

Unless you're pulling a drag while you're holding the fire button, your coil will overheat. Airflow and juice flow make up the atomizer's cooling system. It's hard to monitor the screen on the mod when you're vaping.

That's what's cool about NFE Tools device monitor. You can see how your mod is managing power and maintaining its estimate of temperature in real time.

I say "estimate" because temperature is a calculated value. There's no thermometer in the atomizer. What you see on the screen is what the mod says the temp should be.

well after some testing it seems that the joyetech does the same thing it just not show the temp overage like the tesla I must admit I never really gave much thought to how TC mode worked I mean I did kinda think that maybe a thermometer was in the board somewhere/how
