Testing the Smoke Juice Waters

Hi,I have been vapping for a couple months now and would like to try some different smoke juice companies. I have been using johnson creek... they are good... but a little pricey.

I like the johnson creek juice but if I were to order from another company what percentage of PG/VG would I go with compared to Johnson Creek? 50/50, 80/20? I do enjoy a rather large TH. I have the Joy eGo

I am thinking about using Freedom Smoke USA based on reviews from this site, but if anyone has had success with another company could you let me know as well.

If anyone has used Freedom smoke USA would you recommend any of their tobacco flavors? Now I am smoking a johnson creek tabacco/menthol 5050 mix and enjoy it.

Supplier wouldn't change your preferred PG/VG ratio. If you are not interested in trying anything new, stick with your current PG/VG and nic level. As for Freedom Smoke USA, I picked up 3 different sample packs from them, they offer several. So far I have tried 6 of them and they are all very good. I use 80/20 PG/VG at 24mg. They are a great vendor with a very personal touch. Good luck.

Cool Thanks. I may try the 80/20 you use, I am also at 24mg. I was just curious if anyone knew what Johnson creeks PG/VG ratio was.

I use stuffing type cartomizers and over the months have found that I get the longest good performance out of a carto w/ thin juices 20% VG or less (they let the air flow more easily though the carto stuffing, and wick more easily). Other and I have also found that many juices leave behind flavoring sediment that clogs a carto or atomizer more quickly so I have stopped using my heavy sediment juices (including a cocoa I loved but it clogged everything too fast). Now for my cartos I stick with lighter clearer juices that leave little or no sediment. For dripping I do drip some 50/50 juices like FreedomSmokeUSA Hopscotch (to me tastes like honey and butterscotch) and their Voodoo (a mystery flavor - something fruity, something dark, and I taste a bit of cinnamon).

FreedomSmokeUSA has every PG/VG for the majority of their juices but only 50/50 for their Specialty flavors and samples (samples are also 24mg only and not available for all juices). My real tobacco there was probably not what you are looking for - Desert Ship, a Turkish Blend - nutty and a bit pungent like the smell of a freshly opened pack of cigs.

I use JC as well and I looked up the ratio at their site and I'm not sure. They are awesome with e-mails fyi--if you find out let us know... They are pricy but I love the QC.

Virginvapor.com and nitelitevapor.com have my all day vapes. Virgin vapor leans more towards exotic and fruity flavors where nitelitevapor is all tobaccos.

After a few months of ordering from different vendors, I have found 2 that continue to exceed my expectations as far as quality, taste, and consistency thereof. Ive bought 6 flavors from Backwoodsbrew.net (3 tobacco, 3 sweet) and absolutely loved every single one (and will probably go to Don at Backwoodsbrew for any future juice purchases).

I started out on Boba's Bounty from Alien Visions Ejuice and thoroughly enjoy several of their tobacco blends (I do not want to be caught without at least 30ml of Boba's and Gorilla Juice), but Backwoodsbrew is getting the majority of my business now.

Obviously tastes are subjective, even when using the same hardware/recipe/nicotine strength, but I bought two tobacco flavors from Johnson Creek from a local store and did not care much for them at all. I gave them to a friend who had just picked up a PV and he fell in love with them...pretty hit or miss in my experience with JC.

I finally got my freedom smoke usa smoke juice today, and I really like it. I took the conservative route and got the maxx blend but I added menthol, just in case the tobacco flavor sucked I would at least have the menthol flavor. I got a 70/30 PG/VG mix and the throat hit is good and there is tons of vapor. Finally found my new smoke juice home. Thanks everyone for all your suggestions.

Vermillion River has some nice tobaccos. I even like them and I don't vape tobacco flavors.... If you check hairball's post you will find a link to their site... hairball has the best list. I think she keeps it ready.
