LOL - not really! His legs are so short everything on his "undercarriage" drags in the cold snow! :)

He does his business under the deck where there is no snow and runs back inside!

I have a 12 x 40 screened in porch. There are 100s of wild birds under there right now trying to escape the ice and sleet that is now falling. Yep, looks like my power is going out.

I love how people shop like they are living on top of the Rocky Mountains. Whats with the bread and milk? Are milk sandwiches real popular?

Just wondering.

All you folks on the East coast sound like you are well prepared. Stay safe!

That kills me too. Along with frozen goods. If you lose power I would think that you would not want a stocked freezer? Although I have a generator and did pick up a few micro frozen items. I didn't stock up for doomsday though and am assuming that the stores will all be open in a few days.

Here in Greensboro (NC) we are just getting a dusting at present. It is supposed to snow all night, into the morning. I agree on the comments about the mass hysteria at the grocery stores with even the mention of snow. I've never known us to have a storm so bad anybody starved to death. However...when I used to smoke and they were calling for bad weather, I MADE SURE I had a carton of cigarettes:p Funny what your priorities are!

Hmm, I live in the mountain tops! Looking at 21 inches earlier today so....
But I am well stocked and also wonder at the panic at the stores. If I can't buy bread so what, I can make it. If I run out of milk, so what, I have powdered and canned for that matter. I think most southerners have all that cause we like biscuits and gravy and fry bread and well, you get it. Lose the power, use the grill.
In the blizzard of 93 I saw people just about beat the poor bread man down in the parking lot, lol. Of course back then I would have beat the cig delivery man had I run out. Now I am well stocked with nic juice too and you bet my batteries are charged. Those batteries were my primary concern. But I did get a pk of smokes just in case when they first started talking about this horrible weather.

See, people buy bread cause that way when your power goes out, you can make sandwiches with everything in the fridge that's gonna go bad. That's what I finally figured out anyway. The milk? No idea what they're doing with that. :)

Well, when it's cold outside and snow everywhere, just makes sense to open up the door and set the milk outside in the snow.

Thats funny! I actually keep drinks and other items cold in the winter by putting them on my back porch rather then the fridge. The temp is always lower then my fridge.
