This morning we had to tip out the iceblock that was in Brosnan's water bowl! And force him to go outside for a drink and a wee. He's so hard done by - I did point out to him last night that 90% of the dogs in this town were sleeping OUTSIDE and he has 3 couches and 2 beds, so he should stop looking so miserable when we send him outside for 5 minutes... (He's a spoilt dawg, that one)

Brosnan sounds as spoiled as our dogs! Raleigh (the boy in my avatar) is on a high protein diet. Each day, I usually give him one pound of organic ground beef, ground turkey, or ground chicken. He decided that he's tired of it and I had to have a long talk with him. I told him that many dogs eat Alpo and don't get to eat organic food each day. The talk worked for a few days, but not for long. So, every few days, I make him meat loaf (yes, with organic ground beef). Our other dog, Stoli (a beagle) is very old and we let him eat whatever he wants. Tonight, he had roast beef and mashed potatoes for dinner. His favorite snacks are potato chips and tortilla chips!

TT - When I make meat loaf for Raleigh, we usually eat it for dinner too! But I don't let hubby have too much, since Raleigh needs a lot of food! But we also get to have mashed potatoes (I make them with organic red potatoes) and sweet peas. I tried giving Raleigh peas, but he doesn't like them. Tonight we had roast beef, mashed potatoes, and baby carrots for dinner. That's why Stoli had roast beef and mashed potatoes! Otherwise, he would have eaten sliced turkey breast and mashed potatoes.

By the way, Stoli eats more than Raleigh! He eats oatmeal every morning and then falls asleep. When he wakes up around noon, I give him a small plate with potato chips or tortilla chips. Then he takes a nap for the entire afternoon. When he wakes up, he eats a full dinner. I have no clue how that boy can eat so much.
