Good Morning Pokey and the team!

Gosh, I really slept in this morning! Pretty nice.

I was originally scheduled to have that procedure done where they put that scope in my stomach to see my heart, but I guess they over-booked and can't do it today. My doctor is scheduling this and will let us know when they can do it. So maybe I have another day off and free of doctors and hospitals.

My left ankle is back to normal and the right is still swollen and pink, but obviously improving. My hope now is that the antibiotics completely knock this infection out of my right ankle. I guess that's going to be the important thing. I don't know what the next step is if it doesn't.

Anyhow ... we did get four tenths of an inch of rain last evening and this morning is bright and clear, Of course the humidity is at 95% (according to my electronic weather station my wife got me for Christmas last year). The weather station elements report wirelessly to their own little console, but also to the computer. So if the computer goes out for any reason, I can still see the information on the small console.

You probably already know that old men like to know and talk about the weather and their grandkids and with all this information, I'm able to do both real well.

I'm sitting here this morning with a Liquinator tank on my Buzz, Phidias and one on a GoGo battery with an adapter. Have a duel coil in each Liquinator and all is right with the world! Oh, and I have a GoGo carto on my 5v pass through too.

Hope everybody else is feeling better this morning. I know my poor salem was not quite up to par and hope she doesn't overdo things taking her mom shopping today.

My dog Chance just came by for our morning loving, petting and conversation, so let me attend to him and I'll be right here ... so post away.

Morning TT and friends; I want to apologize for my rant against men and decorating last night.....can't even blame PMS any more....my adrenalin was flowing from being over on Army Guy's thread and feeling bad about what our guys are going thru over there.

I love alternative/natural remedies. My family and friends call me the "VooDoo Queen" but guess who they call when they have a problem? After my first husband died with no help from medical science, I became interested in other solutions, and this retired woman has a lot of time to use the computer and do lots of reading. Natural vinegar, with the "mother" in the bottom is wonderful for lots of ailments, and also Sd, there is a great healer out there called Sangre de Drago (Dragons's Blood) which is sap from a rainforest tree.....very good treatment for gum/tooth problems and a natural wound healer. I do not know about the taste. I keep it here for cuts and scrapes.


And TT---us old ladies love talking about the weather and grandkids also. My grandkids call me "Weather Grammy" (no joke)...everytime they come here to visit, the weather channel is on the tv. My grandaughter just informed me when she was here last month that her dad has turned into me.....watches the weather channel all the time. Guess the apple did not fall far.

Hope you all have a good one today.....I do love coming here in the morning and reading. It is always a good way to start my day. Now I have to go clean up the mess we made in the kitchen last night with the tile.....it is really looking good. Can't wait to see it all done and my appliances all back into place.

Nope It turns out that I am not so I am going back to bed I guarantee that I will be seing my sisters allergist when I get over this because I am pretty sure that is at least what started it all

Good. If your not feeling well I'm glad to hear your not pushing yourself.

That's the best thing to do and get to your doctor as soon as you are able.

Don't keep putting it off like us guys have a habit of doing.

TT, sounds like you're slowly on the mend and Salems gone back to bed. I hope you all feel much better as the day wears on.
Me, I'm in good enough health to be stuck in my office, but, the neighbor seems to be having his driveway ground up and repaved today, so I may cut out early and head to the casino so I don't have to listen to a team of men swearing & grinding cement all day!

And Salem, I was so hoping you would be up and around today. I know you need to be getting ready for company so that is on your mind also. When they get there, just hand them a list of all the things they need to do before they can settle in. The price they pay for staying at Salem's Boarding House.

LOL, actually, this is an old fart who does type with both hands at a fairly high rate of speed but who fails to proof read sometimes! A touch of arthritis and some misdirected fingers makes for some interesting words sometimes.

Gosh SecondChance, I'm sorry to hear your not feeling better and don't worry about my Sociable Securities check. My wife still has that job at the Lube Rack up at town and sometimes I still take my little walks through town late at night to see what people have left laying out that I guess they don't want. I load that stuff up every once in a while and go over to another town to an empty house and have a yard sale.

Hey we have a great big rain storm heading this way and we're under a severe thunderstorm watch which means we will more than likely lose our electricity. Its already gone off once. They never get in any big hurry to get it back on.

Thought I'd better let everyone know just in case.

But we're going to get more rain!!! Four tenths of an inch yesterday and more rain today. This is great!

I'll give you updates if we happen to not lose power, but we nearly always do!

This old fart (or is that applied only to men) is hoping you get lots of rain and that it spreads westward to engulf all of the parched land, TT. Hope you keep your power, but small price to pay if rain comes. How are you feeling today? Is your right limb more improved this fine rainy day? We (who were in drought) got 1.8 inches yesterday, but I did not say anything cause I didn't want you to think I was gloating. I got so excited when I looked at the radar and realized it was not going to go north or south but just hit us head on. I would say at my age it doesn't take much to excite me, but I have always loved storms, and have always become excited to see them so it has nothing to do wrinkles and middle age spread.

And that antique tractor that is worth several thousands of dollars that you took out of my yard and sold over in Kilgore.....well that was my grandkids' college education. But don't worry about it, if they have to work their way through college, it will be good for them---builds character. After all, you have been nice to allow me to settle here so I can forgive a little thievery, but only if you share with SC, as it sounds like he is needing a hand out this month.

Hubby went the other day for a few things but he now seems to be coming down with what I have so I just have to suck it up and do it. I will to talk to all of you later I am sure
