Tfa caramel candy flavor

this stuff smells like coffee, anyone use this? i have tried and it tastes like coffee too ..
if anyone use this please advise me thanks

I used it trying to make a candy caramel and cream type recipe -- but ive tried 4 different versions of percentages/variations and they all taste blah -- maybe thats why -- i need to try a new caramel =(.

I've got their caramel (original) and caramel cappuccino flavors. I'm wondering if you may have gotten the caramel cappuccino by mistake somehow.

That one is very strong (I use it at less than 1%,) but has a decent coffee taste with a hint of caramel.

I find that their caramel needs a lot of sweetener, and is also pretty strong. I would guess that caramel candy should be fairly sweet already, but maybe you mixed it too strong.

I just received the TFA Caramel Candy as well, haven't mixed it up quite yet, but am wondering if your concentrate is cloudy? All the other TFA flavors I've purchased have been clear (some are slightly tinted but remain clear), this one is very cloudy.

*As for scent, I detect absolutely no coffee smell. Just a straight up buttery Werther's type caramel candy scent. I also have the Caramel Cappucino and it's clear and smells like a very toasted toffee with coffee undertones.

I would contact the vendor that you bought it from. I too am thinking it may be Caramel Cappuccino. If you bought it from a reseller they may have mislabeled the bottle. I use Caramel Cappuccino at 1 drop in 10 ml of base for good flavor. Higher than 1% and it tastes like burnt rubber IMO.

I don't remember being particularly thrilled with mine either. If I could find the mix I had I'd try it again.

You didnt get caramel candy . Tpa caramel candy smells just like warm caramel candy . Its a non mistaking smell. In the future try FW caramel candy though . Im sure you will love it more then tpa caramel candy.

Agree that FW is the best one for a caramel candy taste. It sounds like you got one of the super concentrated ones--those have a burnt toffee smell to them and are very strong and not the kind of caramel that will add a sweetness.
