Hi guys, I just picked up the TFV4 a few days ago. I having a problem with my mod when trying to screw the head on. I have tried countless time to assemble my tank making sure I have everything together good. There is no problem with my mod because when I put my Atlantis tank on it work perfectly fine.

Has anybody else know what's going on?

Thanks :)

What power device? X-Cube 50w

What resistance head? I'm not sure I'm in answering it correctly but i was using the triple coil that came with the tank.

Are you trying to install the head with the base still attached to you power device? No

I'm really going crazy trying to figure this tank out, I do love it when it's working but I never had this many issues with my Atlantis tank!

The xcube 50 is capable of firing a minimum resistance of .2Ω.
The TF T3 replacement head is .2Ω.
It is normal for replacement heads to have a slight variance in resistance.
If your replacement head is even .001Ω lower than .2Ω it won't fire, or at the very least won't fire reliably.

The heads are marked with their resistance and it should show the resistance on the xcube display.

So even though it was working ok, it might not always work because I need a bigger mod? It was working ok until I tried to tighten and straighten the top of the tank because it appeared to be slightly crooked....

Kangertech Ni200 coils are rated .15, out of the 6 or so I have used since I got my subtank not one was above .14 and almost all were in the .135 range....having said that if your mod can fire down to .2 and you are using coils RATED for .2 its most likely your coils are less than .2 and therefore your mod wont fire them.....If you managed to do a short fire on the coil it raises the MEASURED resistance of the coil and may cause your mod to read it as above.2 which may explain why it worked sometimes but not others
