I must confess...this is my first "real" mod. And I'm suffering from options overload! Specifically, which type of material (stainless?) and coil head type (dual?) am I too choose for the included Clapton CLP2 and STC2 coils?

Does the unit just "know" what settings and use those? Do I manually put the settings in myself? My head is spinning...unless that's from the nicotine! :)

Someone please throw this noob a bone and help me out!

Cheers!!

TC modes support Ni200, Ti#1, and all grades of Stainless Steel via TCR values. TCR stands for temperature coefficient of resistance... it's the amount the resistance increases when warmed up. If an outlandlishly wrong TCR value is used, the mod cannot accurately control the wattage to maintain the temperature...

ONLY use Ni200 and Ti#1 in TC modes. Never in wattage... Stainless Steel, on the other hand, can be used in either mode. Most modern mods will kick you out of TC and back into wattage if your TCR value is way off. Long way round saying the TCR values are important, but not critical...
