Hello, I have been lurking around the ECF for the past few weeks and have gotten so much great info. I decided it was time to register.

I have been a fairly steady smoker for 12 years. I bought my first ecig kit at a local retailer a little over 6 weeks ago and have had zero cravings for regular cigarettes since . Very exciting not to smell like smoke all the time. I found this forum while researching the best options for a new kit as the retail company I bought from is pricey and voids their warranty if you use e juice from any other company

Thanks to the info on this forum I have a 510 kit on the way from Cignot and am waiting for the Backwoods Brew site to open up so I can place my first order.

Oh and the ecig I have not is a pen style from Smart Smoke.

Welcome to ECF! We were wondering when you were going to get around to registering and posting. The 510 kit should keep you away from analogs - it worked for me.

Heheh, i find that as a 1.25 PAD smoker, i can buy one unit and some fluids every week and it will still cost me less than analogs. Then again, my brand is up past 8 USD now..

Yep high cost and smell is what prompted me to try ecigs...I am so excited by the loss of my morning gravel voice, it was a nice surprise, too young to sound like an old smoker.

Welcome! High cost, a lease that prohibits smoking, and not smelling bad anymore were big sellers for me! Besides, vaping is tasty! After a couple of days, analogs tasted like .....

It is for me. I am a relatively new vaper but am trying tons of stuff (juices, atty vs. carto, eGo, Blu, 510) The great thing is though I can order all this and still save money. It's like back in the day of analogs going to the smoke shop in the mall and spending more money to get the more pleasurable tobacco, but that was expensive where this is not.

Glad to hear the cost savings continues even with sampling of all the ecig goodies!

Side note, learning to blow Vape Rings, fun fun...never could do it with my ultra lights.

I just went to the convenience store I buy my analog cartons from to buy a twix bar and a pepsi (luxuries to me). The guy pulls out my regular carton and had it ready for me. I told him that I didn't need them any more. I was shaking when I got back in the car, but it felt good.

I want to thank everyone for sharing their reviews,thoughts and knowledge in general on this forum. I have smoked for a good 40 years, tried quiting different times in my life with no luck until now. A little over a month ago I started looking into the ecigs and found this forum. I looked around and thought to myself there must be something to this since so there are so many informed members here. After reading through the reviews I decided to give it a try and was really surprised as to how well the ecig satisfied my urge to smoke. I left my smokes on the counter in my shop along with my ashtray and lighter just in case this didn't cut it but never felt a need to pick them up, one day without thinking I did light one and immediately put it out thinking it really tasted like crap. I haven't lit one up since and am actually enjoying the new freedoms.
