There are so many things I could thank Aspire for. This is a company making constant improvements in vaping gear...and I own a few of their products. I would like to thank them for their Nautilus tanks...these are so awesome and I have yet to have 1 leak on me. I thank them for their bottom vertical coil which took vapor production to new levels for low-wattage devices. I also want to thank them for the Atlantis...which allows anyone with the right PV to get that full-on dripper experience without having to build coils or drip. Must most of all, I want to thank them for making the coil replacements for the Atlantis with little ridges on the top.
So I'm sitting here at my desk, normal work day. I pull the tank off the base, leaving the Atlantis base screwed into my Sigelei 100w set to 30 watts. Then I get distracted. Minutes pass, and as a matter of habit I blindly reached over and grabbed the Sigelei and put my lips on the coil head about to take a big hit. Crazy wouldn't describe what would happen next if I hit that thing direct from the coil...if you've ever seen the movie The Great Outdoors when John Candy shot the bear in the ... with a shotgun...that's probably what it would look like. But those little ridges on the coil immediately caught my attention, keeping me from hitting that fire button.
Ok, sure, you can argue that Aspire made these little ridges so your fingers will get traction when installing or removing the coil heads...fine. However, I will firmly believe they had idiots like me in mind when they designed these things. Thank you Aspire...you saved me!
