Thank You ECF!

Good evening ECF Canada!

As some of you may know by now from seeing my numerous BST posts, I have completely given up vaping!

Just as I never had any intention of quitting smoking, quitting vaping was never in the plans. So why did I quit? A few reasons:
1. It was becoming an expensive hobby
2. Being dependent on a substance bothered me (now caffeine is my only master)
3. We recently found out we're expecting our first child and while neither of us were really worried about "second-hand vapor" we figured we may as well be cautious.

It's been a little more than a week now, and other than the occasional hit of 4mg e-juice on and eGo (which was just enough to get me through the first few days) I haven't felt any uncontrollable urges, at least nowhere near as bad as the last time I tried to quit smoking.

Hopefully this is it for me, but it's nice to know that if I fall off the wagon I'll be resorting to my eGo and not a pack of Benson & Hedges

I wanted to say thanks to everyone on this forum, it's been a lot of fun being a part of this community for the past 7 months and I wish you all the best!

You'll still find me lurking on the boards from time to time though, vaping was only part of the fun, the other part was browsing through ECF!

A baby!! That's so exciting! Congrats on the good news, and on quitting vaping. A habit (no matter how fabulous the habit lol) is hard to break, so good job!

Hey Devilfishphil, congrats on giving up vaping. Good luck and hope you keep up the great work. I also wanted to congratulate you and your wife. My wife too is expecting in January. its our 5th, yeah I know im nutz lol. This one was a suprise.

Please let us know if you have a boy or a girl and the pregnancy stories about your wifes quirks and unusual cravings over the next 8-9 months, trust me there will be many lol. Take

care and keep in touch from time to time with a post.

Thanks for the support and well wishes everyone, it's very much appreciated

Oddly enough I don't really have any kind of craving or urge to vape, what I really miss right now is browsing ECF and checking out the Suppliers forum, the Classifieds, rushing home every day hoping that the mail man brought some vape goodies, just the hobby aspect of vaping.

Now I need a new hobby, at least until the baby comes (from what I've been told once that child is born I will practically have no time to even think about anything else ).
