Thank you mods

Over the last 6 weeks or so, while the forums are a lot slower, the quality has gone way back up.
For a few months, there was a herd of trolls on this forum.
Over and over they would invade a thread, blatantly insult people to the point that they would contradict themselves just to keep the drama going.
As soon as one would show up, in trompled the rest of them(about 10 or so)

If nothing else was going on, they would do a Authentics are rips. Or clonevs authentic, or Provari sucks... You know.
So - to whichever mod or mods who handled that situation

You guys deserve it.
Once i posted about a mod that claimed to be from milled stock, but tested out as extruded.
I stated clearly in the thread to contact me if you wanted to know what mod it was and for test details, as well as an offer for test setup info for purposes of duplication, the most ridiculous cesspit was created.
One of them asked me for the info in a PM, then after getting it and replying to me, went back into the thread and claimed I didnt answer, and was for some reason lying.
Then straw men were set up and duly burned. It went on for pages, without my even participating. By the end, they had created a whole conversation for me, lol.
I poked around other threads that group was in, and saw the same pattern.

What the heck?

Was it a group of bored kids, or what?

They obviously worked together.

I would have to say this forum is the best I've found regarding no BS allowed, the way it should be.

Also learned a whole LOT in the short time I have been here.

Not only do I thank the moderators, but the members too...!

When forums first started becoming popular, I guess 16 or 17 years ago now.. Damn.. I was a mods worst nightmare lol.. Me and my Internet gang of misfits from a defunct magazine forum would go around the Internet (back when it was kinda small), and we would troll a random forum for fun. The worst was a site dedicated to frugal moms. It was horrible thinking back. These old ladies were just learning to use a computer, clipping coupons, and we were... You know, being bad people. Anyways, I guess now that I'm old, I appreciate the order of a properly run forum. So thanks for putting up with people who are like I was. I know from experience how difficult it is to deal with idiots. I also ended up being a mod for a busy tech forum, and had to deal with the same crap that I used to do. I figured it was penance.
