Just had to show my appreciation with you for kinda running point on the whole RM2 how-to's and the experimentation you've done trying to chase the perfect build. I've made dozens of coils with suggestions you've made and tricks you've shared along the way.
Just for grins I've purposefully only been building new coil combinations on two of my RM2's, and leaving the third alone; running the same coil setup as the first day I made it. My routine is on Sundays I will take out the cotton wick, give a few dry-burns to burn off the carbon, brush the coil off, and push the blunt needle-tip back through the coil. Then threading a tiny bit of cotton into the end of the blunt needle-tip and pulling it back out the coil. (GREAT tip, btw!)
I'm now on my 7th week with that coil, and it's just as good as the day I built it. That's amazing, considering I would have probably gone through 4 regular attys by now if I never got into rba's. Oh, and the coil still meters at 1.2, just the same as the day I made it.
So, I just wanted to say "Thanks" for taking the time to share your knowledge and helping the community get the most out of these little gems. You've been a huge help for many people here.
