I'm obviously brand new here and just wanted to say thank you to those in the "Live Chat" area. Specifically asti, Dirgon, and two others whose names I can't recall. Apologies to those two. Also to others who chimed in on their own conversations that had me rolling. I never thought I'd see the term "Satan's anus" used to describe the flavor of something, but there it was. =)

Anyway, they confirmed my thoughts and rationalizations and I placed an order for my first pv.

I've been smoking since I was 18 and now at 46 I think this may just be the answer I've been looking for. It's hard to stop smoking when you actually enjoy the habit. The nastier side of it is what I'm really wanting to quit...ashes, smells, burns, stains, etc.

On the plus side, I love to tinker. I see a lot of mods in my future. I hope to see ya'll around.

thank you for the warm welcome. asking such hard questions, puffer, how dare you? lol. i had to check my confirmation email to find out where i ended up. =) in the past few days i'd almost ordered a half dozen different kits for various reasons that seemed valid at the time.

i ended up with a Joye eGo-T with 2 x 1000mAh batteries. got that from cignot. cost a little more, but i could upgrade the batteries on the site without any fuss. not to mention during my last few days of research, i saw nothing but good reviews of that vendor. i also ended up getting a handful of juice samples from fsusa.

it's funny to me how this whole thing evolved. i was a relatively happy camper saturday morning. one miss-click later i'm on a site selling these things i'd never heard of. cool idea for a guy that likes smoking, but hates the residual stuff that goes with it. but they wanted my cc number to give me a monthly "subscription" for the cartridge thingies...i don't even let my utility companies auto-withdraw from my accounts. a quick google search and next thing you know it i'm on youtube with mistressnomad answering questions i didn't even know i had.

long story short, she sent me here. and this is where i got hooked. i'm used to buttheads on forums so never use them. this place is actually not only informative, but there are some very cool people here. even the old farts in my age range are personable.

Oink, i really enjoyed chatting with you in live chat and am happy to see that you placed an order for your Pv. I ended up on this site the exact same way you did. The site I was on wanted 80.00 monthly and there was no way i was going to give them a credit card number so they could bill me every month. I was, however, determined to quit analogs and found my way to youtube, then here, and have not left here since. I really don't know if I would have made it this far without the support from the wonderful people I have met her. Good Luck and hope to see you in chat!!!

I do love that there are no trolls on this forum! I didn't think trolless forums existed! i have seen a few heated debates here and there, but everyone tends to be repectful of everyones opinions and there's no name-calling or foul language thrown about. Congrats on your PV choice and life changing decision. My son has the Ego T with 1000mab and loves it. Personally, I am at the XL's and prefer dripping. Like you, mods are in my future. Just trying to decide.....may take a while, lots of options.

I've joined quite a few forums over the years. Most of them I leave after a short while. But I have found three trolless forums that I've stayed on. Some for 7-8 years. I think that this could be the 4th.

Fast they are. Placed the order around midnight, out the door and had me an email telling me so at 11:00am. And yup, it was Vicki that sent the email. FSUSA sent me an email an hour ago telling me they're processing my order (a bunch of samples since I have no clue what i'm going to like and dislike.) I assumed such a minor order of samples would be put on the back of the backburners. Obviously I was mistaken.

It's good to see so much activity here. Not only that but a good number of fellow Hoosiers as well as a local supplier in the Speedway, IN area. Feeling better about the whole experience by the minute.
