In hopes for a more positive post... I have been vaping for about a year now. I love vaping. I have used this forum for some direction regarding my DNA30 and found this forum most helpful. So again, thank you. Here are some pics of what I created. It's hard anodized, cut from 6061 aluminum and powered by a VTC4. Now, just to find the 454 up here in Canada. Thank you again for the fantastic wealth of knowledge provided here. I'm really not much of a forum guy but I am looking forward to contributing. Yeah , CNC took about an hour. Manually would have taken forever. I wanted something ergonomic and proportional. Used Hanamod's ideas and went from there. I cut the holes all on size, the buttons snapped in and the 510 connector was a slight interference fit. If there are any issues or failures, they should be an easy fix. The only issue I had was the support for the 510 connector. My wall thickness was quite thin so I used "metal magic steel" by Loctite for additional support underneath, around the connector. It worked perfectly, I would highly recommend trying this stuff out. I couldn't for the life of me find an 18650 holder up here in Canada that I liked so I had to make that as well, crude but effective. Thanks for the compliments, I love it.

Great work bro, I'm happy your happy.;) Hey I'm curiuos, and I hope you don't mind.

-What was your cost for the whole milling job?
-Did you just give them a Hana box and you suggestions or did you have to produce it in some kind of 3D file?

Again sorry for all the questions but I'm kinda in the same boat your in. I have a design but I my area I have very little resouces like machine or fabraction shops. If I could ever find one they would charge me an arm and leg to get it done. So for now I doing some home work to see if can afford to do this or not.

Thank Sambow

Luckily, I did the design and the millwork myself. Cutting steal/aluminum and designing stuff is what I do for a living. Honestly, unless you are really adamant on getting a custom piece, don't bother. It will cost too much, IMO. However, if you can find a small garage type shop, someone who is capable of both designing and cutting, you may be able to get it done for cheaper. Like under $400...
