Thanks and Questions

Hello everyone! Thanks for the wealth of information here! I am new here and had my last analog on Dec. 31st. I started with a PV that day and am getting along just fine. A couple of questions though... I do astrophotography and own a DLSR and telescope. Will the vapor hurt or adhere to glass and equipment? I assume there is some risk but thought I would ask.

I've read people's reports that vaping in a closed window car can leave a film on the windshieild, so I'd proceed with caution around your expensive equipment.

It certainly would not be anywhere near as bad as the yellow stains that cigarette smoke leaves behind on everything. Since I've been vaping, about 8 months now, I have not noticed any film left from my vaping, and I probably vape harder/more frequently than I smoked (one pack a day).

Vaping will make a film on your truck window. But its easily cleaned off. My theory is your blowing Vapor right on the windshield its cooler than the Vapor so it cools it quickly and makes the film. I cant imagine it harming your optics but you might have to clean them a little more than your use to.

that vapor could conceivably get inside the lens though, that would be my concern. Kind of like how cold weather can make water vapor condensation inside the lens and then your in for it.

+1. Id assume repeated cleaning would scratch eventually.

Yes, everyone I've talked to with Telescopes has stated the less cleaning the better. Thanks again!
