Did you order batteries with it or just the 150W?

Just the device, still in Canadian Customs according to USPS tracking. I've read all sorts of horror stories about peoples' shipments containing nothing but devices being confiscated or shipped back to vendor, despite an e-mail I received from customs after an inquiry:

"Electronic cigarette products without nicotine and without health claims can legally be imported and sold in Canada, provided they meet the general safety requirements of the Canada Consumer Product Safety Act. However, Health Canada advises Canadians not to purchase or use electronic cigarettes as these products may pose health risks." - Canada Border Services Agency

Ya, soon it will be harder and more expensive to vape than to smoke:

"Electronic cigarette products with nicotine and/or health claims require authorization prior to being imported or sold in Canada. To date, no electronic cigarettes with nicotine and/or health claims have been authorized by Health Canada and their safety, quality, and efficacy remain unknown" - CBSA, as quoting:
Nicotine addiction

This means that while cigarettes containing nicotine are healthy enough to import, as are PG, VG, and flavoring for vaping purposes, nicotine in combination with VG, PG and/or Flavoring poses enough of a health hazard as to prohibit entry to Canada

BTW, electronic cigarette products include nic base or pretty much any liquid that contains nicotine, apparently. I was only inquiring about nicotine base with absolutely no reference to vaporizing, e-cigarettes, etc. and that is what they sent me. Full e-mail:

ME:

I have found it difficult to find a definite answer on the subject. I would like to order a nicotine solution (100mg strength, 1 liter nicotine/propylene glycol solution) from the US, but I would like to know if this is permitted through customs to Manitoba please.

Thank you very much,

Always loved this line. Yea, neither have some Energy Drinks, Caffeine pills, etc, etc

MAJOR CORPORATION: We're going to start distributing energy drinks in Canada. Is that ok?
HEALTH CANADA: Have you demonstrated efficacy and identified any potential risks?
MAJOR CORPORATE: No
HEALTH CANADA: Approved. We'll just arbitrarily approve your request and make it so that you don't have to prove their safety, we have to prove they are NOT safe (which we don't do - don't worry).
ECIGS: We'd like Canadians to have the freedom to choose a healthier alternative to traditional tobacco cigarettes. Is that ok?
ECIGS: Hello?
ECIGS: Hello?

Cigarettes, VG/PG are all healthy to inhale, just not nicotine (unless its the Nicorette branded inhaler)

Yep! Just like gum/patches etc are all safe and do not promote Nicotine addition or underage usage (which are the 2 reasons Health Canada said we should not buy vaping materials)
