I just wanted to say thanks to all the helpful people who posted information here!

After reading everything I could, watching some helpful videos (thanks RatInDaHat and Spikey!), and looking around the various vendors I picked up my first PV! I bought it in hopes it could help me get off the analog cigarettes that are totally destroying my lungs.

My DSE901 arrived from Wicked e-liquids on Friday, and after a 12 hours charge I was all set to start my vaping (I also picked up 10 extra carts + a 11mg Tobacco juice).

I am proud to say, that after 21 years of smoking over a pack a day, I only had 5 analogs on Saturday, 3 on Sunday, and NONE so far today! I absolutely LOVE this thing! All the parts I really enjoyed about smoking without that pure evil feeling in my lungs!

As a side note, after tyring my PV on Saturday, the wife placed an order for her own DSE901..

I'll let everybody know how the end of my analog smoking goes... Wish me luck!

That's great! Best of luck to you both in your lifestyle transition!

Please continue to let us know how things are progressing.

If there's one thing we love around here, it's success stories. This place is a support structure for many, and, you never know, your testimonial might be the one that causes someone else to buy their first. You never know!

My experience is almost the exact same as yours Gaius. I'm only on day 5, but after 20 years of 20 a day yesterday was my first day in all that time when I had no cigarettes. No cigarettes - I love just saying it!! No fags! Yahoo!!!!

Frankly, I cannot believe it. Even more bizarrely, I have no craving for a cigarette. It is very odd, but very, very, very pleasing.

Oh, and my first e-cig has already paid for itself in saved ciggie money. Incredible.

Between my wife and I, it came to close to $400 (US) a month in smokes.

Payday is next week, so I figure that is when I will order 2 more batteries, 4 atomizers, and various types of juice (to make sure the wife and I are both covered).

Speaking of convincing others to buy them.. I have already had 3 other smokers I work with ask me for some links to PV information (I send them all to this forum). It seems like most of them are like me, love to smoke but hate the carcinogens associated with it.

Great GaiusV and wife! I still remember those first weeks for myself too (as no doubt we all do): the amazement of actualy finding something that works, and works SO well... the happiness to be able to stay away from those analogs at long last.. the gratefulness for finding this life-saver...

Enjoy, both of you! And have fun on your road of exploring all those new possibilities you will now come across. :D

Good Luck GaiusV!!
Now place an order for more atomizers, batteries and juice from somewhere like Ruyandirect or the like so that you are not stuck with a device that is not working...

I just took a look at this site.. any reason why they are so much cheaper than everybody else on their parts? Are they a decent supplier?

I believe they're in China, so shipping may be higher. But you definitely have to wait longer, and you face the risk of your shipment being seized by customs. They compensate for the risk and wait by lowering price.

You rarely get a "better" deal with anything in life... you just pay in different ways.

Your going to the source and they are less costly ,but just as good as anybody else.Where do you think US suppliers get there goods CHINA so cut out the middleman and you will be fine.I have had good luck with that supplier.

Yeah but considering this is my initial "stockpiling" of spares, I really don't want to have a customs issue or delays in receipt.

Once I get a decent stash together, then I may not mind the additional risk/delays.

Hey, you are both doing really good:). I started vaping last October, i'd been smoking 20+ a day for more years than i care to remember, on the day i got my first kit i had a few real cigs left, i smoked them along with my e cig and i haven't bought any since, or had the urge to have one. I've also "converted" 3 long term smokers who asked me "what the heck is that you're smoking?" after explaining, showing, and letting them have a vape they all bought kits and are very impressed, so all in all, i'm so glad i bought that first kit:thumb:, bet you are too.
