Thanks to everyone + one question

I am brand new to this form and this is my first post. I just wanted to say thank you for all the great information I have received. It's been 9 days since my last analog and the Joye510 and I have developed an intimate relationship. After trying everything to quit smoking (except chantix, because I'm scared of it) this is the first time in my 20+ years of smoking I have ZERO desire to smoke.

My one question (of I'm sure many more to come)

I smoked menthol and would like some suggestions of popular menthol juice so I can refill my carto's.

Hiya Dave! Welcome to ECF, and a big congratulations on your 9 days smoke-free! I also started with a 510 (still my only pv, so far) and I just love it. Like you, my 510 and PCC never leave my side, wherever I go.

I would try to give you some suggestions on a good menthol juice but I've only tried one (which I love), and unfortunately the vendor I got mine from is planning on discontinuing this flavor. *big pouty face*

I'm sure someone will come along shortly with some suggestions for you to try.

Halo makes three wonderful menthols. Truepure is my absolute favorite, but all three are great. They have a 15% off sale right now. They are a good company to do business with. My suggestion would be to order a 30ml bottle in the three different flavors & also different mg levels. I have 6mg, 12 mg & 18 mg because I like lower levels at night and I like higher levels for quick vapes.

I got a menthol juice from MadVapes.com and it's very good, but too strong for me (I didn't smoke menthol cigarettes) so I've been cutting it with regular tobacco flavor juice. I can't say I've smoked a lot of it, because I've found that something too close to regular cigarettes makes me want a regular cigarette. I've smoked way more Peach and Green Apple, also from MadVapes.

I go to NicotineNirvana.com for potent menthol flavor. Potent enough to clear sinuses. I usually get Polar Bear Menthol, but they also have a spearmint-ish flavored one, which I haven't tried.

Digitalciggz.com has a milder, yet deep menthol flavor called Sub-Zero Menthol.

If you're looking for more of an earthy, tobacco flavor kind of menthol, BackwoodsBrew.net has a menthol flavor where you can choose the strength of the menthol.

All of those I've tried since I was also a menthol smoker, and each one is great in their own way. I generally mix them with my fruit flavors for a cool sensation with every hit.

There juice is american made, and if you go to their site, I thnk you will be impressed by the quality. The menthols are not overbearing; to me, they are close to a menthol cigarette. Again best wishes!!

I was a menthol light smoker for years. What I found works for me is FreedomSmokeUSA Pure Cig and ask David to add menthol in the comment section.

I was a 30 something year menthol smoker.
Take it from me....not all menthol liquids are created equal!!
I have at the present time, about 9 different ones, most from different vendors and each one...is different.
I like some, love some and hate some...all menthol.
It is very much gonna be a trial and error game for YOU.

I do not suggest buying large bottles at this time...only small ones to test and from a few different vendors.
Just because I like it, does not mean you will.
For instance, I just got a order today, for a Atomic Fireball....it's highly rated by many as a great
menthol juice.....and I do not like it. It has a touch of clove flavoring and that is the part I do not like...but the reviews say it is great...which it is for them...just not for me. It's not the vendor, I received 3 more different types, and I like those...

What I have settled on after many trials, is not a true menthol or at least the name is not.

It is a CremeDeMenthe with a couple drops of Fire and Ice. Note the "couple" drops.

My Fire and Ice comes from PureSmokers....and a little goes a long way. I cannot vape it more than
one carto full....it is awesome...but intense....but did I say awesome...

Next reason for suggesting small bottles...is that your taste buds will change over the next
few weeks and months after you get off the analogs.
What you like today, may not be what you like a month from now...so think small for the present anyway.

Now for the real kicker....after 30+years of menthol smoking, I am not 100% sure, that I like vaping
menthol as much as when I started this about 45 days ago! Never would I have thought that, but it's true.
Simpler tobacco flavors and even chocolate are getting in line for my favorite.

Thanks, player. I bought a 5ml sample of each menthol flavor. I suppose I can consider that some literal last minute post-holiday shopping seeing as how it'll arrive next week. Welp, somethin' to look forward to before NYE. Heh heh.
