:toast::glare::rickroll::headbang:I'm completely excited now, finally made my first successful atty for the protank. I followed a video that left me confused and kept making duds that left my eGo twist blinking like "wth is this buddy!!". After a little help from ECFers and a couple accurate vids, I wound up making 3 working ones about 10 minutes. I dripped the first one and when the coils went red, I said to myself "It's working!" and felt like I just reenacted a scene in the Phantom Menace. ha!

Finally achieving this made my day because now I have room for other goodies in my monthly vape budget. Makes me look forward to tackling other ECFer essentials like trying DIY Juices, and even more experimenting with Kanger atty heads.

So what was your first successful time like with these do it yourself projects? Or even, what are you experimenting on now?

The first thing i tried was making my own nic juice. I found out something that surprised me and that is I like unflavored nic juice the best of all :)

Next month i am going to try making coils for a reomizer atty to use on my REO Grand :D
I've had the same experience. I do make flavored juices, but there isn't much you want to taste all day long. As for the original topic, I built my first mod (just a nicostick) about a month into my vaping career and was incredibly proud of myself. I have some new designs in development right now, but I'm not allowed to talk about them until I get registered as a supplier

Unflavored? Sounds interesting. Does it have a taste to it? I think it kinda makes sense as an all day because you can't (in theory) get tired of no flavor.

Building your own mod? intense! I don't feel ready for that yet. My favorite one I saw on youtube was a lightsaber turned into a PV.

I'm looking forward to seeing what kinda stuff you have in development. I'll keep an eye out.

The light saber is probably a little advanced for a first mod. A nicostick is actually pretty easy, it's just a basic mech box mod and there's a sticky in the modders forum if you're interested in trying it. If you can't solder or don't have the gear, you could use solderless wire connectors but they don't work as well.

As far as unflavored juice goes, the nic gives it just a hint of smokiness and VG is kind of sweet so those proportions will determine what your juice winds up tasting like. I make 30 mg 70%VG

Oh, it is. I think I vape for about 5 cents a day

I'm at something like this too, and you can really make some tasty stuf. I've just started buying a few new juices here and there to try some different flavors out, but homemade ones can be very good, and you can tweak them any way you want. A little sweeter or less sweet, a little less of this flavor, and a little more of that one. There's a learning curve, of course, and a cost curve.

I haven't had the nerve yet to start making my own. Trying to make a list of stuff I need to get started. I've bought a lot of people to vaping and I could make a small fortune...lol

It's really not that difficult. You just mix your nic base, which is mostly either PG or VG with PG and/or VG and you have unflavored juice. For recipes check out one of the many e-juice calculators out there, they'll even do the math for you.
Best supplier for nic imo is wizard labs.

They've always treated me good.
I'll second this.
