Do you mean then or now? Check the ProVape sub-forum. They are being re-released next week (I've also seen them already overseas).

They have closed that option since PayPal has stopped trading in Siamese kittens. The good news is Baby souls are still valid payment method there...

With the popularity of the green light, I'm sure you'll get another shot at it. They are just being business savvy making it limited releases to increase the popularity of it. I doubt they would never again release the green one with so many people ready to pounce when they do offer it. Stay patient and be ready when you have the funds!

I don't understand why the green is so popular.

I have red and blue, and I personally love the way the red light illuminates my whole finger tip. The blue light doesn't seem to do the same. I wonder if the green light permeates through the fingertip like the red one?

It's all personal preference tho...

It will be available again. There have been 2 runs so far of the green LED and I'm sure there will be more in the future. I got a blue one so I went with the blue LED and am happy. Now if they offered a green unit I would love a green LED for it.

I preferred my red over the blue (still don't know why they charge extra for a different color LED...let alone $15..). Red seemed like it would look better with the silver ProVari v2.5 to me. Green isn't my cup-o-tea either. Purple though...I could get behind purple....on a black ProVari v2.5..

The green and blue LED's cost Provape more to buy than the red, so that additional cost is passed on only to those customers that want green or blue. Provape doesn't make them themselves.

The same holds true for the colored bodies. Provape outsources to another company for the color ceramic finishes. That is an additional production cost to Provape that they pass on only to those customers that want a colored body.

This keeps costs down for the basic default model of the silver body and red LED, instead of increasing the price of all Provari's, regardless of body color or LED color.

Put a piece of Scotch tape over the Provari display window. Cut to fit with X-Acto knife. Color yellow with a marker. Your blue display will be green.
