I used to vape tobacco exclusively. It wasn't until I started making my own juice did I discover other flavors.

I agree. Although I did have other flavors besides tobacco before DIY, I haven't ever used a tobacco flavor in my DIY and I don't think I ever will. I like my vape to taste like something that's supposed to be put in your mouth and the thought of cigarettes, cigars, or any other tobacco doesn't appeal to me anymore.

Sorry to sidetrack here, but what are analogs? I've heard the term mentioned quite a few times on this forum, and don't know what it means...

Analog is just a term for real cigarettes...

I'm a newbie too (one month smoke free today... woohoo!), and so far just not motivated to try fruity tastes. But, am about to get into DIY and I will order a few selected sweets to try out in small quantities. Though I don't feel like it now and only want tobacco flavor, I know I'll probably evolve just like most folks and develop a more 'sophisticated palate' (or sweet tooth, lol)

I started off with tobacco flavors to quit smoking. I really had no idea about all of the flavors out there when I first started. Then I tried bubble gum... liked it... and then proceeded to go juice crazy. I have about 25-30 bottles of various fruit or dessert flavors. Mostly from Mtbaker and local shops. Ever since I discovered Boba's Bounty, Gorilla Juice and H one N one from Nicoticket.... I rarely touch anything else. They are my "brand" of vape. Searching and buying countless flavors of cheap juice are a thing of the past for me.

Oh, that makes sense. I guess e-cigs are "digital", normal cigs are "analog", or something. Anyway, congrats on quitting; I've also been a non-smoker for almost a week and a half now, and I never dreamed it could be easy or even possible, let alone enjoyable.

I mostly smoke tobacco liquids, but I've been vaping some strawberry lately. It's not bad, and isn't lighter or lacking in throat hit at all, so I've also got some blueberry due in the post, along with cigar, tobacco, and apple. Their is a pretty wide range of flavoured tobacco juices - I had some premium quality caramel tobacco, and it's the best I've tried (I've been smoking the cheaper liquids since). DIY juice is also something I'd like to do, though not until I've researched it fully.

So many juices, so little vape time !! :)

Too true. Even chain vaping all day. Hope i don't die before I get the chance to mix up all the flavours I want to try!
Shoulda started younger.

Been vaping for 2 months, basically quit smoking the same time, barring maybe 2 cigs a day.
Started the other way round, the choclates and fruits etc, then started on tobaccos and pretty hooked on them at the moment. There's some fabulous nuances to be had.

I tend to smoke about 2 cigs a day still, for the rough bad taste in my mouth I'm so used to. Desperately trying to find a real strong bad tasting mix to replace those odd cigs with.

Like just about everyone, the first thing I did, and am still doing, is try to find that ciggy hit and flavour, but now I'm considering moving on to try other things. It seems like a good idea to move further away from tobacco, and the post near the front end of this thread where some guy said that the quitters that did this seemed more successful made some sort of intuitive sense to me.

My concern here in Europe (UK) is that the powers will try and ban all flavours down the road a way. I'm not sure if that kind of crazy talk is still on the table here, but it was at the end of last year.

I would guess it's common for those of us making the change from analog to e-cigs to think tobacco flavor is the way to go. I'm still new and trying to find my favorite flavor but tobacco is certainly not on the list. I have a fairly large bottle that I just don't like. I'll hang on to it and hopefully use it up in a mix at some point. I should have known as I vaped tobacco leaves in an herbal vaporizer a few times and the taste was just gross IMO. My favorites so far have vanilla tones. They seem to curb my analog cravings more than others.

I decided, when I started vaping, to stick to tobacco flavor only.

Within two months I alternate between Apple and Mango, Chocolate Mint, and a straight menthol.

Menthol is my all day vape, and I alternate between fruits and chocolates depending on my mood.

I kinda figured I have a few options now and explore some different flavors.

As always, taste is subjective, but I couldn't vape a tobacco liquid now

Its pretty natural to go for tobacco flavors after you stop smoking. I tried several other flavors, i can tell, i dont like much sweet tastes. Even tobacco juices arent real tobacco, in a real way, some mimics some scent or taste you have on tobacco smoke.
Take for example a cigarette i used to smoke, lucky strike. As all cigarettes, they put sugars on it. When you vape a tobacco juice like tribeca, it resembles, because its somewhat sweety. I really liked when i tried unflavored, to me it tasted most dry vape experience, you just taste and feels the nicotine, what is a more smoke like experience. From my shallow vape experience, is the nicotine added that make things looks like cigarettes.

That's when we go live in Germany!! I don't know how long this will last, but it's big here and so many people are going for it. The British and Irish have those mental anti-smoking campaigns, like all our packaging has got graphic imaging on them. So I think the vapoureres(?) will be ok!
