Tried dripping before. Didn't like it. My method was to drip a few drops into the atty, and put an empty filter-less cartridge on top. (or tailpipe it)

Bought some filter type clearomizers. They come with a whistle tip. Saw a review that said replace the whistle tip with a drip tip because you will get much better vapor production.

Drip tip came in today. I thought what the hell I'll try this again.. and Wow. Flavor! TH ! Vapor !

I started trying all my flavors to see what they really tasted like. It seems tailpiping it or sticking an empty cartridge on top doesn't let the true dripping experience come through. Neat!

They say, this type of clearomiser is very close to dripping. Now I will know how to compare the two - hopefully i'll get the clearomizers tomorrow.

Btw.. I don't recommend the 24 mg Pineapple from Freedomsmokesusa.. even dripping, I cannot taste it but perhaps that's just me.

The coil is near the top on these and they do make good drippers imho. Take out the plug, pop on your drip tip, drip in two or three drops and viola, very fresh vape.

Another thing I almost forgot. I recommend test firing those a couple of times to see if they are dry or not. Just hold the button 3 or 4 seconds at a time and look carefully for vapor. If you have any, I recommend cleaning them before use.

One more tip and you may have thought of this already, but just remember to get off the button on the 5v before you finish your draw. A 6 second draw with the button on the whole time is going to cook your juice. :vapor:

We are talking about the same clearomisers aren't we.. the ones with the filler.. not the CE2's with the wick? Just wanna make sure..

Already got one filled and it doesn't taste bad. I'll check with the next one. Thanks for the 5v tip! The one I filled is the single coil for my Riva.. Hits great and holds a Lot.. I cannot see needing a tank or anything larger than these.. but the duel coil models are even larger capacity ! I'm gonna have to fill each of my 5 with a different flavor cus I'll get tired of the taste and want to switch before this runs out.

I found I like dripping as well, but it can get a bit tiresome after a while. I got some dual coil cartomizers from MadVapes today along with the Maxi Roughstack I ordered a couple days ago and the combo is awesome. I really need to stop going to that website.
madvapes is a horrible horrible awesome place.. that i cant seem to stop spending money on, i want a roughstack :) or an e-power.. or another riva kit.. or.. lotsa stuff :)

+1 on the Roughstack... I've only had it for a day, but I love its performance and FF. Fits in my hand like a roll of quarters. It's not going to win any beauty pageants, but who cares when it works so well? :)

I can understand this. My new passthrough has a tiny body. I suppose that's the normal size of a 510 battery. It's not at all like my fat Riva battery. Feels really odd holding that passthrough. I want it to be thicker and heavier. I may have to wrap something around it just so I can hang.

lol if you got the scrilla you can always check out madvapes acrylic passthroughs, they look awesome but they aren't exactly cheap...

Just got my roughstack also; Love it.
For me, it looks good in non tumbled finish.
Is your finish tumbled?
Can't figure out why RS has ugly reputation?

I got the Maxi (they couldn't think of a better name? ) which is $5 more than the standard. I'm guestimating it's about 3" tall without an atty or carto attached.

awesome looks like they're the same as just a regular one with the longer tube. doesn't sound to big might have to try em. n don't worry it's not a maxi pad :)

I wouldn't call it "ugly" per se... It's more of a utilitarian design.

I don't know the difference between tumbled vs non-tumbled. The pix on the website aren't the best. Mine doesn't have a mirrored finish. What I'm guessing are the machining lines are still clearly visible.

If anyone asks me what it is when I'm out in public, I'll just call it my Roughstack. I'll leave out the "Maxi"... :)
