I'll usually just change bottles and atty's when changing flavors. Takes about 1 min to clean out the cap and tube and put on a different bottle. When I drill out some new caps (tomorrow) it will probably take about 15 seconds to change bottles because the main time is used cleaning out the cap (witch probably isnt that necessary). Sometimes if i'm just going to vape something sweet for 5-10mins, i'll just change atty's and direct drip.

Thanks for watching :)

nice review bro! glad you're enjoying yours, I can't wait till I get mine... so Applewood is your all day vape? do you find you still drip? like if you want to change flavours? or you just drip directly into the Ali'i?

I blow the remainder from the tube back into the bottle when i've taken the cap off. Or I just blow it into a paper towel, wipe the tube with a paper towel, blow off any paper towel leavin's and put into the new bottle. Ryan is sending me some extra drilled caps and tubes. I'm still gunna drill some holes (3/32") in a few bottles. When I have these drilled holes in say 3 or 4 6ml bottles, I see myself just pulling out the tube, cleaning it quickly and placing it into new bottles when I want to change flavors. I'm thinking 25 seconds MAX if i'm taking my time.

Second all that in his review... This really is a great mod. With all the wood combinations, it's one of the best looking box mods out there in my opinion. Like it was said in the review this thing stays clean - no runs, drips, or errors. Everything just works. The juice feed systems is extremely easy to use and works perfectly every time. The removable covers are great and make accessing/swapping the bottle and battery a snap. The rounded shape of this thing feels great in the hand and the button at the trigger finger works great. I can push the button with my trigger finger and squeeze the bottle with my pinky without having to readjust the position of the Ali'i in my hand.

I quit e-cigs about a year or so ago because of the hassle (mess, constant battery swaps, constantly refilling carts, cart filler material clogging up an no longer wicking, etc.) All that has been solved with this mod. Vaping has almost become as easy and hassle free as smoking an analog. Plus there's the analog mess (ash trays, stray ashes everywhere etc.) and smell that are no longer an issue.

The only thing that this mod can't offer is the size and format of a real analog. You can't hold it like a real cigarette and when in public it sure doesn't look like you're smoking an analog. The cigarette format/style - like a normal 510 setup - never did feel like I was holding a real analog because of the weight and balance. I could never hold it like a normal cigarette either in my fingers or my mouth. For me this is not an issue. For others it might be.

Yea I should have shown that too, thanks for pointing it out.

There was quite a bit i didn't talk about, I dont think I even mentioned that it does 6v as well. Waiting on my HV atty's and will probably do a follow up.

I can push the button with my trigger finger and squeeze the bottle with my pinky without having to readjust the position of the Ali'i in my hand.

Sorry for my newbie questions, but...
I assume that the Ali'i doesn't come with a battery? Can I use the batteries I have for my eGo and/or 510?

Do I use my existing cart or a drip cart, or does it come with a cart?

What do I need, once I've ordered the Ali'i, is what I guess I"m trying to ask!

Thanks, looks like a great product, and would solve my main complaint about vaping, the mess....

Yes you need a 3.7v 18650 Battery, https://www.lighthound.com/AW-18650-Protected-2600-mAh-Rechargeable-Lithium-Battery_p_3125.html This is the one I use, but you can email Kaji for his recommendation. He did recommend this one to me about a month ago. There my be something better then this but im getting 2 days vaping and am happy with it. You can't use your 510/eGo battery.

You'll want a drip tip with it. Can be found many different places, I like the nHaler ones but they are probably the most expensive. It doesn't come with any carts or atty's.

So to sum up, what you need.

Battery
Battery Charger
Drip Tip
Juice
Atty

You can use your 510 atty's or 901's with the included adapter. I'd recommend a LR atty for 5v vaping.

You can also get 2 3v RCR123a batteries to use for 6v vaping, but since your new i wouldn't worry about this yet.

hope this helped more then it confused :D

Your response helps a lot! Thanks

My next question is, how do I GET an Ali'i???

Someone mentioned that they take orders, then stop taking orders while they're manufacturing/building the existing orders, then start to take orders again.

I heard that they take orders on Friday night, at 8pm? Is this correct? Is that 8PM PST (I see they're in California, which is where I am)?

I'd really like to get one. How long from the time it's ordered until they ship? Any idea?

Thanks again!

That's one expensive battery. I just ordered 4 for that price here: DealExtreme: $8.01 TrustFire Protected 18650 Lithium Battery (2500mAh 2-Pack Blue)
Maybe that's a better battery. I know DX isn't particularly fast, but I haven't even got anything to put it in yet. So I'm in no hurry.
Nice review, FreeFlow. Thanks.

Nice review, FreeFlow. Thanks.

See this comparison: LiIon 18650 battery comparison - CandlePowerForums

The Trustfire TF2400 performed slightly better than the Trustfire TR2500. Also note that the TR2500 is slightly longer than the TF2400. i have the TF2400 and it's almost too long to fit into my Ali'i.

You can get the TF2400 from DX for a similar deal: DealExtreme: $9.68 TrustFire Protected 18650 3.7V True 2400mAh Rechargeable Lithium Batteries (2-Pack)

I use both the TF2400's and the AW2900's. Both work well in this application.
