wow, thank you for the info Drozd! i'm totally clueless about batteries so i had no idea the name was the size...that's going to be so useful to me now. thank you for the size comparisons too!

no problem...glad it helps

oh but I did forget one... a standard 510 or KR8 battery is 9mm in diameter

and standard analogs are about 8-9mm in diameter...

:D you're awesome, thank you!

btw, how do you like your Super6?

I absolutely love my super6...then again I work heavy construction and I'm all about the precisely machined all mechanical mods..so little that's even possible to go wrong with them....and if it gets soaking wt, or full of mud or dust I can take the battery out and take it apart and wash it out and dry it and it's good to go again..

The Precise is gorgeous – long, slender, silver – just the aesthetics I like in a PV. But it seems darn expensive for such a limited mAh device.

Functionally and aesthetically, is it that different from what I call the DaBoomMod (V901);)? A $5 Drip Tip (metal with a nickle finish) from Good Prophets on a $7 silver DSE901 atty on a $16 chrome Kr8 auto battery (280 mAh, true 3.7V) = $28.

That is like asking if a Rolex knockoff is functionally and aesthetically different from a real Rolex. :nah:

I was in stock when I ordered it and it didn't take that long to get here, keep in mind I'm in Canada too! :)

Drozd is right about the batteries, the Precise takes the 10440, but ONLY the protected ones...

So you can get it in Canada? I tried to go to the site and could only find shipping to the US. Maybe I better check again. I am so looking to get one of these, it seems the next step after eGo for me.

I use a Precise and LR 510 atomizers. It definitely cuts down the time that you can vape, but gives giant rich hits that more than compensate for that. Consider his new model the Precise 16340. It is a compromise between size and power.

If you do get the 10440 precise with brass end caps make sure that you keep that button clean with quality polish. It will tarnish over time and block the current, but it looks damn cool.

I'll agree there NS! I LOVE it with the LR atty, but it takes away from the time...

I've already run into that 'problem' with the conductivity, but a quick swipe brought it right back!

STILL loving my Precise!! :hubba:

I just wanted to chime in here for anyone still on the fence about ordering that I absolutely adore my precise as well. This was my first mod and it looks sexy enough that I use it everywhere, most of the other mods I see I would be embarrassed to whip it out in public

I use only LR attys and it gives me enough vapor that I can feel it, prior to this mod my e-cig was an intellicig evo and that just didn't have enough vapor to satisfy me, with the precise plus LR it is seriously is better than analog cigs ever were for me.

I don't vape a lot so I only have to change the batteries ever 3-4 hours or so, but even if I was a heavier vaper it wouldn't be a deal breaker for me (then again having a purse makes carrying around a ton of batteries easier) I order the batteries at DealX and they are really cheap so I have a stockpile.

For me personally I like the size of the 10440, i'm going to buy a 6v for at home + battery life next. If I wanted to sacrifice looks for battery life why not get a 6v instead? I personally wouldn't trade the aesthetic factor for longer battery life, then again i am a girl :D I wouldn't call a lot of my footwear "practical" either.

I did a ton of research before buying and as far as I'm concerned this is the only mod I have seen where sexiness and simulated HV vaping combine. I am really really exponentially happy with the precise.
