    Here is the difference:
If you go into a room full of experenced vapers and ask who owns a XXXX mod, the guy that makes it and maybe one or two others will raise their hand. When you ask who owns a SB, all those guys that make other mods will raise raise their hand. You see, the SB sets the standard, and those that build quality mods know that.

I used a BB at 6v all day, every day for almost a year. I only moved on because I got tired of dealing with CR2 (protected) batteries that seemed uniformly unable to reliably hold a charge. In the end, I had six pairs in rotation, and I could never tell when I was going to need to change sets.

The BB is a terrific little mod, and if I could have gotten used to 3.7v vaping, I'd still be using it today. Instead, I use an AltSmoke SB with LiFePO4 batteries, and the only thing I miss about the BB is its compact size.

altsmokes PVs are plain built to last. all mechanical, so nothing to break.

what i like about the bb and alpha is that theyre the smallest tube mods ive found that can go 6v (though its not recommended..use protected batteries if you go this route)

only complaint i have about the bb and sb is the lack of vent holes (using strictly 3.7v you shouldnt have a problem)

if youre using this as yoir all day mod, jus make sure to buy a bunch of batteries as 14500s dont last too long. im sure youll be happy with your purchase

Take the switch housing off and look at the bottom of it, see the hole? Now look right above the switch, see the opening at the top of the bezzle? Both the SB and BB are vented. just not out the bottom like you were expecting.

Wow. Learn something new every day. I didn't know that. Never vaped 6v with the SB just the Omega because of lack of vent holes. Thank you :)

Love my AltSmoke products but GLVs are the stuff. The form factor, amazing button and vape-heaven performance. Just sayin... :)

good info, i don't have the SB anymore, but i remember reading someone saying if the SB were to explode, it would vent out of the button. sounded more theory so i hesitated to mention it. good to see that it really is vented. gives another plus to altsmoke in my book

side note: hi boodle, hope u got my package the other week >.<

I had a BB. its a great little device and another good thing is that they sell a sleeve to fit a 14650 for longer battery life. also there is now a 5v nimh battery that is the size of a 14650. so you can vape at 5v on a BB! thats awesome. it'll be a sneaky little monster!

i have a youtube review of the BB. my username is in my sig below. check it out.

Like many others here, I have to give kudos to the BB from altsmoke. An excellent mod all the way around; it was my first mod, as well. It is sturdily built, small, very nice large button, durable, smooth threading and it has a tough yet beautiful finish (I had the black).

I used it at 3.7v coming off of 808s and I loved it for the battery life on the 14500s as well as the consistency of the voltage for the duration of that battery's life.

Altsmoke has always been an excellent vendor for me to deal with. Great, consistent customer service, prompt mailings and active on his subforum here at ECF. Good people, all the way around.

All good advice! Thanks! Being relatively new at this I can be content with true 3.7 V with LR Cartos, etc...for awhile.
So a BB sounds good, however, I really looking closely at the Copper from Atmousa, they say it can go up to 6V on their standard, or even up tp 7V on the Q2V3. I can get everything (charger, etc. +free shipping) all for around $100.
The SB, and the BB will take me over my current budget.

Any Copper owners out there? Chime in!
